I had a very bad abscessed tooth that went from mild to severe pain literally overnight. I became very ill the morning of the procedure and Dr. Williams was very patient and just wonderful helping me to be able to extract the tooth which gave me huge comfort. He was wonderful and I appreciated him calling me that night as well as accepting a phone call from me the next night while he was at his daughters soccer game to answer a few questions that I had .
I was recommended to Dr. Williams by my dentist around February for wisdom tooth extractions. Although dreading the visit and the news, Dr. Williams was helpful in explaining what was going on with my wisdom teeth. He was eager to get me in and alleviate me of my pain, but I am in college full-time and work a full-time job, so I decided to wait until the semester was over -- which was also 3 weeks before I left for Cuba on a study abroad trip. My appointment was originally at 11 on a Friday, and I received a call the morning before to ask if I could come in at 7 instead, because he had a lot of cancellations --that was fine, the earlier the better. About 5 hours later I received a call telling me that the appointment must be rescheduled for the next week. No explanation, but I assume it is because he didn't want to waste his day on one surgery. So we rescheduled an appointment for July, after I came back from my trip. The day before I never got a call confirming my appointment, and I called as soon as I could get on my lunch break from work around 4:15 and they were already closed, even though the machine said they were open until 4:30. So I worried but hoped they just forgot to call me. The next morning my appointment was scheduled at 9 I called exactly at 8:30 -- the time the machine says they open -- and did not get through until 8:50, only to find out that I did not have an appointment. The receptionist even asked," Are you sure it was this office?" YES I AM SURE, as my insurance company has already given you a pre-determination. Then she said I couldn't come in anyway because there was not an anesthesiologist in the office, and that we'd have to reschedule. Needless to say, I went to a different dentist David Banta and got my wisdom teeth extracted the next week -- no cancellations and no hassle. Oh, and the reimbursement check I received from Dr. William's office misspelled my name -- they do not care who you are, or about your well-being, even if you are willing to pay them to do their job.
