I accompanied a relative to her appointment, and Dr.Soenen was wonderful! He was compassionate and understanding about her dental anxiety, and was professional yet personal and warm. His assistant, Emily, was lovely as well. They listened to my relative's concerns and what she needed to help relieve her anxiety, and they were so accommodating she asked that they tell her/explain what they were doing as they did it. Such kindness from a dental office is nearly unheard of. I highly recommend considering Dr.Soenen!
Dr Soenen and his staff were very knowledgeable and kind. They worked together as an efficient and effective team. I was given wonderful explanations of procedures being performed. Everyone seemed to enjoy their jobs and stepped over backwards to make sure I had the care needed. I gladly and sincerely recommend Birch street dental.
Dr. Soenen is an awesome human! He's so compassionate, and does anything he can to make you more comfortable. I have incredibly bad anxiety when it comes to dentists/dentist offices, and he helped me by prescribing me an anti-anxiety medicine to take before I came in. Also, he does IV sedation, which was a Godsend in my case. He stands by his work, and treats you like a friend.

It was the best dentist appointment I’ve ever been to he did excellent patient service and was extremely professional and great patient aftercare! I was scared to death and he made it a very easy to go through the procedure without any problem. I highly recommend him to anyone that has fears or any other bad experiences for any dental work done. Great doctor and wonderful staff
Dr Soenen and crew were great! It's been years since I've had any dental work done and they helped me get back on track. They happened to have openings that afternoon to get a couple of cavities taken care of right away. It wasn't painful at all, shots were placed right, and they explained everything BEFORE they started each step of the process. Very comfortable experience and eased my anxiety a out past dentist work, 10 outta 10. Keep up the solid work guys!
I have been a patient at Birch St Dental for over 13 years. Dr. Soenen is the best! Even though I hadn't seen Dr. Soenen in person in a few years, you would have thought we were old friends. He is personable, efficient and just a joy to interact with. 5 stars all the way!
Awesome staff!! Dr. Dan is amazing. They all made my entire experience of getting implants pretty seamless. He, as well as the entire staff, work diligently in making sure every step of the process is explained and make sure patient comfort comes first. Kudos to the entire team.
Dr. Dan, thanks to your staff and especially you! My dentist in Petoskey was on vacation when I broke my front tooth in a skiing accident. Even though I hadn't been one of Dr. Dan's patients they were able to get me in THE SAME DAY and get my tooth fixed in time for the weekend. Savanna was his assistant and she was awesome and Dr. Dan made me feel so comfortable like we knew eachother before. He fixed my tooth and you can't even tell it was broken he did an amazing job. If I wasn't loyal to my dentist, Dr. Dan would be who I would regularly see. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
