I really liked Dr Goncalves. He took the time to listen to what was going on and got a treatment plan going.He also was willing to answer any questions that I had. The office staff were great and everyone was pretty much on time so u didn't have to wait long to be seen or have lab work. I would definitely refer someone to see him and I plan on remaining a patient as long as I need him. :::
Dr.Goncalves is a wonderful doctor. I have been his patient past two years with a rare genetic condition and he really knows the treatment and never gave up on me even when I was frustrated. A compassionate doctor who thoroughly knows what he is doing. He and his team have been very supportive especially during my worst circumstances dealing with complicated health issues! Thank you Dr.G and team ! You guys are the BEST!!!
My two visits with Dr Edison Goncalves has been a blessing . Helping me to lower my blood glucose levels by 50 points in less than three weeks . Actually totally taking my diabetes into a normal state after years of hovering in danger levels . Also discovered problems with my vascular system in my legs , and sent me to get tests which proved his suspicions were totally correct. I would highly recommend this doctor . He is very patient , taking plenty of time to evaluate , properly test , and discuss a plan of action to get the problem treated with the highest level of professionalism and integrity!! I feel blessed to call this man my Doctor !!!.
The staff and nurses are so kind. Doctor Goncalves takes the time to explain everything to you and is very thorough with all the test you need for an accurate diagnosis. He is the best Doctor I have seen in years.

I found a doctor that cares! Be SURE to read ALL of the negative reviews that this doctor has! Also read the bad reviews for Grandview Hospital. The problem with this office is they overbook their appointments so you wait around 2 or 3 hrs or longer to see him. After I waited in the waiting room for 1 hour & 15 minutes I finally asked how much longer to see Dr. Calves. I was told he was with a patient in an examining room, 3 more patients were also waiting to see him in examining rooms & 1 was also in the waiting room to see him. That is 4 people in front of me. My original appointment was at 10:20. I think it would have been 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm before I would leave, but I left at 11:45 am. On my next 3 month appointment I tried to tell doctor Calves that his patients have a life too, can't sit all day waiting on him. He told me to bring a book to read like he does when he goes to the doctor incase you might have to wait for 1 hour. NOW GET THIS! Dr. Calves sent me a registered letter that stated he would no longer be my doctor because he could not take the truth about how he treats his patients. I had already found me a very good endocrinologist before I received his registered letter in the mail. So PLEASE EVERYBODY, I warned you, Plus all the other NEGATIVE REVIEWS, about this doctor & also Grandview Hospital. Find you an endocrinologist that cares, like I did.

Dr. Goncalves is a very kind and patient physician. He saw me in his office 04/24/23. He is partners with my physician who was not available at that time. I needed to see him sooner than later. He took the time to review my chart and listen to my concerns. I highly recommend him. Great doctor.
