I’m a Board-certified Ob/Gyn specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology / Infertility and Minimally-Invasive and Robotic Gynecologic Surgery.
As a fertility specialist, my areas of expertise include infertility, in-vitro fertilization (IVF), oocyte cryopreservation (egg freezing), tubal reversals and treating the conditions that have an impact on fertility (such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome).
I’m delighted to live in Miami and provide compassionate and individualized care to my patients.
Bio
Enrique Soto MD, MSc, FACOG obtained his medical degree from the Monterrey Tech School of Medicine and started his long history of leadership by serving as class president during his fourth year. He then moved to New York City to complete a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he was subsequently awarded a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. He was recognized for ‘Excellence in Teaching’ and as ‘Outstanding Laparoscopic Surgeon’ while serving as clinical instructor at this institution.
Dr. Soto continued his education and obtained a Master’s degree in Science with a specialty in Clinical Embryology and Andrology from the prestigious Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School, which was the first program in the United States to conceive and deliver a baby through IVF. He then completed a second three-year Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Soto has wide research interests and has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters. His research interests include infertility, IVF, fertility preservation and reproductive and minimally-invasive surgery. Dr. Soto has presented his research at numerous national and international meetings and currently serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics.
Dr. Soto is a Voluntary Associate Professor at Florida International University (FIU) - Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
