The doctors at East Coast Oral Surgery are exceptional, providing top-notch care. Unfortunately, the consistently rude and unprofessional behavior of one of the secretaries, the receptionist named Giselle, marred the overall experience. Improvements in customer service are needed to match the doctors high standards.
My husband and I both had a tooth extracted March 8th by Dr. Nash Daniel. The man is phenomenal. We are both on the path of getting implants and this was the first process. From the time we had our first consultation, to the extraction, followed by a check up, we have never been so impressed with a dental clinic as this one. Staff is welcoming, explaining everything thoroughly. Dr Daniel and his assistance work so well together, told him they work like a well oiled machine. I am thankful for the referral from my dentist at “ Prism Dental Clinic”, another fantastic dental clinic, one i highly recommend. Thanks to Prism for always taking care of me and my anxiety and a special thank you to the the staff and to Dr. Nash Daniel for making me feel so comfortable. I don’t know too many people who enjoy going to the dentist, but you have made my experience quite comfortable..
Had my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr Daniel which was a very scary procedure for me especially when it comes to needles. They made me feel so comfortable and calm and cared for. The nurse was amazing as well helping me through the needle part which she is a angel for! Thanks to whole dental staff and Dr Daniel on helping me get out those wisdom teeth :
I got my wisdom teeth removed by dr st germain and while that all went perfectly fine, the after part didn’t. I was having a lot of pain 5 days later so I called for advice or help or anything. They let me come in that day which was awesome, however, when I was seen, I was talked to as if I should know everything already. I did everything aftercare wise that they told me to do. I have dry sockets which is very painful. But he didn’t tell me I had it, I had to later ask what was wrong AFTER the treatment he gave me. He started putting this nasty tasting stuff in the sockets without a warning of how gross it tastes or even telling me what it is or does. I know that he is a professional and knows what he’s doing, but at least talk people through it who haven’t gone to school to study such a thing. Maybe he was tired as it was a Monday or he was in a rush but I’m still a patient with my own pain and worry. I started with a great experience but it ended horribly. And to make it worse, he told me that whatever he put it my mouth would numb it and make it feel better but the whole back of my mouth was throbbing so badly for the rest of the day as a result. I won’t be calling back if I have any concerns. Very disappointed
Dr. Al-Khatib is an awesome surgeon but most of all he's a great human being who is passionate about his work. He makes you feel comfortable the minute he see's you and his personality is genuine. He's just a great guy all around and has a lot of compassion for people.. The entire team are great and super friendly. I definitely recommend this place and you wont be disappointed if you go there!
Dr. Eric St-Germain and his nurse, Darlene Robichaud, were amazing when performing my wisdom teeth extraction surgery. I've chosen to be awake during the procedure and watch these professionals at work and I can tell you they sure know what they are doing and are remarkably good it. There was not a moment where I felt any sort of stress or discomfort during the procedure, they were so friendly, caring and very good at what they do. Thanks, Eric & Darlene :
My son had his wisdom teeth removed before Christmas with Dr. Daniel. My son is deathly afraid of needles but at the consult, the nurse Marise and assistant Amber both made him feel comfortable and reassured. He was still nervous on the day of his surgery but Marise kept him talking and his mind off the inevitable. He didn't even feel the needle for sedation. Truly a caring team who make an unpleasant experience much better. Dr. Daniel is top-notch and my son had no post surgery complications. I would definitely recommend !!
Dr. St-Germain and his staff were all fantastic. Went in a bit worried about the pain and healing of a wisdom tooth extraction based on stories I heard from friends about other dentists, but Dr. St-Germain was kind, quick, and as gentle as could be. I know who I'll be calling if I ever need the others removed.
i have insurance for up to 2000$ a year covered but no one at this location will take it. they try pushing you through to their financing which denied me because i wanted to pay it back in one shot with the return on my insurance as there was no profit there for no reason for them to help me .as per the agent i spoke to this is sad that even after you get insurance that people like this can refuse to take it and leave you in pain by choice . Dr.Karim Al-Khatib should be ashamed ''unfortunately we're not set up , i'm sorry for that but we're just not'' Neither was Dr.Pierre Martin but still pushed it through when he saw it was one of the biggest corporations in Canada paying the bills not some 3rd rate reject company . He helped me putting the clients welfare on the spectrum of importance something ECOS is unapologetic for choosing not to do . its a broken system i suspect but as of today on Dr. Karin Al-Khatib is being called out
Had full upper implants done by Dr. Daniel and final implants by Dr. Sam. However, in the meantime, had interactions with Dr. Karim, Dr. Josee and the entire staff who are without a doubt the best. Would not hesitate for a moment to recommend East Coast Oral surgery to anyone.
