Dr Farjoodi is amazing. He was very thorough in explaining what would need to be done for my surgery, and that helped immensely! His staff is very friendly and helpful.
Following a detailed session of consultation with Dr. Farjoodi, I had an L5S1 ALIF spine fusion surgery on Feb. 27, 2022. Dr. Farjoodi was extremely generous with his time, shared his honest opinion and offered professional advice on possible solutions for my complicated back pain. He patiently explained the MRI images and described the issues. I am now in week 10 post surgery and I am writing to highly recommend Dr. Farjoodi for treating the most complicated back and spine problems. My follow up visits after the operation and his close monitoring of my recovery period indicated the surgery has been successful. I still experience pain and discomfort but feel very happy and confident that Dr. Farjoodi has done a successful though complicated surgery and I will have a life with the highest quality possible post spinal fusion. Dr. Farjoodi has in-depth knowledge and experience in spinal fusion. His office team is professional, caring and kind and understands your post-surgery issues, they act fast, they care and they follow up and make the slow recovery a better experience. I can not thank Dr. Farjoodi, Zac and his office team for making this difficult journey as smooth as possible. He is a valuable asset for the OC residents.
Hands down the best in the business. I had a laminectomy 12/2021 and he did an amazing job and had me up and moving the same day. My recovery was great and it was so much relief to be free of the pain. It’s now a year later and I managed to mess up my back again and went back to him and he encouraged me to try some alternate treatments before we do a surgery. Dr is incredibly personable and knowledgeable and takes time with you and that’s very comforting.
I am so fortunate to have stumbled upon Dr. Farjoodi. He has both empathy and professionalism. I came to him after 3 fusions on my neck. None of them eased my pain. After years of suffering, he made my neck livable. I have osteoarthritis in my spine. My spine is melting like the wicked witch of the west. I fell backward and injured my lower spine and am recovering from a lower back fusion. This is the best Dr. I've had, hands down. Thank you for not giving up on me, Dr. Farjoodi. I used to wake up and feel the pain of waking, sigh, feeling like I was just waiting to die, as life with crippling pain sucks. My husband and I went hiking today! I'm so grateful to Dr. Farjoodi! Dr Farjoodi is Very Personable. I really enjoyed my Visit. And, glad to know he’s is Not a Pill pushing Doctor, as many of them are. Nice Office, Clean!
I love Dr Farjoodi. He is a loving caring Dr. So compassionate and caring about his patients. I would not go to anyone else for a spine or neck surgeon he operated on my spine a couple years ago and it’s been great every cents. His staff is amazing also they’re very Caring and loving also just a great office all together.
Beware of this physician. He left we waiting over an hour beyond a scheduled appointment for result of an MRI scan he ordered for multiple compression fractures of my back. After an hour when I asked where he was I was told he was at lunch, but when I then pushed back as to why appointment was scheduled when it was known the this was his lunch period I was then told he was doing rounds. At that point I had been waiting more than an hour and he was even in the building with other patients waiting before me to be seen so I left. I contacted the office 3 times over the week to request the physician to provide me with my results as well as advise as to how much longer I would be in a back braceit had already been 3 motions with no response. The following weekend I received a letter dated the day after my appointment and posted 2 days after that to advise I was discharged from his service as well as the practice on whole due to "non compliance" despite following all requests and attending my appoint though he did not see fit to do so himself. I was left with no patient plan, no results of my MRI nor referral to an appropriate caregiver to continue my care. Mr Farjoodi is incredible unprofessional and provide no continuity of care. I have filed a grievance against him with the network, insurance company as well as the state. Beware of this provider as he appears to believe his time is more important than the patient and should you push back he will leave you without a caregiver and no recourse to challenge that.
Dr Farjoodi, spent 5 minutes with me and said:”I don’t have nothing to operate in your back so, you need PT and that’s it.” I was there because I am in a lot of lower back pain and I need to know why. I didn’t go there seeking surgery but a good doctor takes the time to explain better the MRI and see other possible ways to treat me. He treated me like I am ignorant therefore, the MRI report is just for him and not for the patients to understand. Really? I think it’s because my insurance is medical and I don’t matter. Perhaps, if I was using a private health insurance I would be treated better. Very disappointed.
I had disc surgery with Dr. Farjoodi. It was the best experience. He is very professional and knowledgeable and one of the best surgeons, I have ever seen. Thanks to him I am pain free and back to normal life. Before surgery I was miserable and in constant pain. I sincerely thank him and his awesome team that took very good care of me.
I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Dr. Farjoodi and Coastline Orthopaedics. I had anterior cervical discectomy decompression and fusion ACDF surgery the first week of June and I'm feeling great. After researching Dr. Farjoodi and meeting with him the first time I knew I was in excellent hands. The office staff runs like a well oiled machine from the front office to the back. The wait times are more than acceptable and the waiting area is comfortable and nicely appointed. Most importantly I can highly recommend Dr. Farjoodi and Coastline Orthopaedics to anyone in need of orthopaedic care.
