Dr. Galen Chun is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
Dr. Galen Chun is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been working in the mental health field since 1997. He is the Director of Psychological Services at College Living Experience (CLE) and specializes in young adults with ASD in his private practice. While at CLE he developed a social curriculum designed to pragmatically help young adults develop social skills by using them in a real world setting. CLE now uses the curriculum nationally as part of their holistic program aimed at strength based goals. Dr. Chun’s areas of expertise include Learning Disabilities, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Health Psychology. He helps clients become better experts on themselves and helps to improve the quality in which they relate with others. On a personal level, Dr. Chun’s life was deeply impacted by an early experience with a family member who was later identified as being on the Autism Spectrum. Since then he has been passionate about helping others discover how to better navigate the social world. Dr. Chun has advocated for the National Autism Society in our Nations’ Capitol. He frequently provides dynamic and interactive presentations for parents and young adults on self-determination and fostering healthy decision making. He has served on the Autism Society Broward board since 2010.
