Dr Gary Banks Office

The experience I had with Dr Gary Banks was was wonderful from the moment I entered the facilities. the staff was very professional from being to end. the receptionist was sweet and bubbly I didn't even get a chance to hardly sit down, before they called me to the back. the nurse that Drew my blood was kind as well and did a good job. It only took one try and I have very small veins. the doctor he was phenomenal he explained everything to me and for detail and listen to my concerns. and I also had a wonderful experience with the office manager she was very warm and Knowledgeable she made sure everything went smoothly couldn't ask for a better doctor and facility and staff for my health care needs

You would be better off to be treated by a deranged hobo in a dilapidated park! I was one of his FIRST patients for Medical Marijuana, they lost my file, & instead of being professional they called THREE POLICE OFFICERS on a 70-year old woman! I paid all my fees last DECEMBER, they lost my file, & TRIED TO HAVE ME ARRESTED! PLEASE, find someone that isn’t so MOODY! I’m turning him in to insurance companies & Medicare! He’s the one that’s shady! I supposed be paid up till June 21!

I overheard him tell another dr that he wanted to quit practicing medicine that didn't include cannabis. I paid his extra fees to be seen within 24 hours for acute needs such as injury or severe illness. When I called him with a positive covid test, he said, "I don't know what you want from me." Another time when I called with sudden crippling hip pain, not only did I have to wait more than 24 hours despite my paid fees, when I did finally see him he was rude and refused to offer advice until he saw the radiology report. I took the report to him within 1 hour, but didn't hear from him for over a week.

Dr. Banks is very rude and will rush through your appointment. When you ask questions or if you don't understand something Dr. Banks speaks to you as if you are beneath him, he has NO bedside manner at all! His staff is even worse. The female that goes by the name of Jay is very rude and unprofessional. Asked her for a breakdown of our bill and she said she was not here to discuss that and tried to put it off to another staff member. She was extremely lazy and refused to clarify anything, I then asked to speak to her supervisor and she said she was the supervisor. I said then you need to do better! I wish to speak to Dr. Banks. We were told he would call us after patients. A few minutes later we received a call from the same rude female saying Dr. Banks WILL NOT call you back you will need to schedule an appointment with him. They will not even speak to you over the phone to resolve non-medical issues because they want to charge you for an office visit. DO NOT waste you time with this office, you will be treated poorly.

Dr. Banks was very informative and up front with his approach for my care however, the receptionist, Crystal was very rude from the beginning. As I left the office from my first visit to their office, the staff informed me that if I had any issues logging in or submitting my application to the state to call back and they’d walk me thru the process. I did in fact have issues logging in and submitting my application so when I called back the receptionist “Crystal” indicated that she couldn’t help me and that I needed to come back to Niceville. She also indicated that I must be doing something wrong and was talking to me like a child. I told her to please not talk to me like I’m a child and she hung up on me. I called back and she hung up again. I called several times there after and left a message and all calls were ignored. Very unprofessional and childlike behavior. Should not be associating with people on a day to day basis. They lost my business and unfortunately Dr. Banks seems like a very good Dr.

They are always constantly rude, unprofessional and never keep track of their paperwork, calls, or emails. Do not go here if you want efficient medical care.

Dr. Banks is very attentive, direct and thorough. I greatly appreciate him taking the time to understand and address my concerns. Other doctors rush you in and out, Dr. Banks doesn't do that. Thank you sir, please don't change.

Dr Banks was very nice, personable. One star because his admin staff suck. Never return phone calls, never answer the phone, door locked for no reason at any time, no hours of operation on door, website still has old info, etc. If you express your frustrations then office manager will threaten to close you out and tell you to go somewhere else discrimination just because they can't get their act together. Must be Democrat. Would suggest getting dr somewhere else if you can.

FYI FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE POSTED OFFICE HOURS & THE DOORS BEING LOCKED DURING OFFICE HOURS. DR BANKS SEES PATIENTS IN SEVERAL LOCATIONS: NICEVILLE, FORT WALTON BEACH, SHALIMAR & not sure AN OTHER LOCATION. I give five stars to Dr Banks and his nurse Lisa & the office staff who were super busy as usual. My first experience was wonderful! I absolutely LOVE Dr Banks, he's direct, he's to the point, he tells it like it is, HE'S REAL. And for those that complain about him being mean or rude I didn't find that to be true at ALL. Perhaps you just heard some truth you weren't prepared to hear, because he is very direct and very real. I, personally, appreciate his approach, "beside manner" and love that he is REAL! Thanks Dr Banks, you ROCK like Pink Floyd!

Dr. Banks was very rude to my mother. He treated her like a child. He said to her, "You must not have had good parents." When my mom questioned what he said, Dr. Banks replied with, "Well you use words like, huh and Uh huh and nu uh." My mother is 64 years old. He should be treating HER with respect and he knows nothing about her parents so the comments were uncalled for. She has switched doctors and will not return. HE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
