Highly professional. Staff is small, but quite capable. Trusted practice and on top of technological advances in medicine. Not your usual pill mill medical practice. Sorry if you're offended because he does not and never has pushed opiates. I've been a patient for 20+ years and he keeps me in great shape. Highly recommended.
I was a patient of Dr. Harrahs for many years. He genuinely is a nice man who does appear to listen & tries to be your friend more than your PCP. That technique makes people trust him. This office is always grossly understaffed. Getting prescriptions called in when needed in a timely manner became nearly impossible. Test results would take weeks for him to review & get my results. He hits that door running to get home ASAP at 5:00 pm most evenings along with his wife who really seems to be in charge of things. She’s the office manager, medical assistant, phlebotomists, file clerk, calls in prescriptions if she has the time. She dispenses medical advice although she is not a Dr. which was extremely troubling. My biggest issue with Dr. Harrah was his constant pushing of narcotic medications. He would do everything to convince me to take unbelievable combinations of controlled substances. He would say I’d never steer you wrong, you can trust me? That trust, no, never the amount I did. He asked me once what I would tell a DEA Agent when I got 1 particular Med filled if they stopped me & asked me why I was on it? Ok, huge red flag! He did not know that I was actually working with a multi-Fed NTF/Drug Diversion unit covertly. He probably found that out after I fired him due to absurd amounts of narcotic meds constantly pushed on me. Schedule III & Schedule II sometimes around 6 different ones at a time. I did my due diligence after reviewing pill counts being prescribed. I feel that now he has most likely become much more careful with his medication prescribing practices. Pretty sure he received that message very clearly.. I would never under any circumstance see him ever again! I’d trust a Pre-Med Student any day over him. It took me years but I and 16 of my friends & family left his practice when it became clear what was happening. Don’t trust someone just because they’re a Dr. I was warned about him for awhile before I realized he was not trying to help me but rather help out his bottom line of profitability. Run... find a great PCP who is a Professional & doesn’t act like he’s your best buddy.
Dr Harrah and his wife Mary are two of the best medical professionals. They are friendly and down to earth. They will listen and talk with you and time is not a factor. Dr Harrah literally saved my life six years ago. I cannot recommend him enough.
Hands down the worst practice I've ever been a patient of. Took almost 60 days to obtain medical record, and never obtained them leaving me to filena complaint with the OCR. Constantly lied to about prescriptions being called in when the pharmacy on numerous occasions never received a phone call, literally lied to my face by office that they had called it in. Never would follow up or see through on setting you up with specialist. Completely under staffed and could never get paper work needed for my employer done in a timely fashion, something that would take 5-10 days elsewhere took 1-2 months. I saw this practice for 5 years and unfortunately they cut back staff and let family run the office in turn running the quality straight into the ground. Two of my family members also have had the same experience here leading them to go elsewhere. If you live in the area and like lies, things not being done in a timely manner, or never being able to reach the office I suggest going here.. Otherwise unless your retired and have plenty of time on your hands do yourself a favor and look elsewhere...
My family doctor is retiring so after almost 30 years with her I had to make a choice of who I wanted to be my Primary Care Doctor After seeing Dr Harrah for the first time, I know I made the right choice Dr Harrah is kind, caring and takes his time to make sure he covers everything you need Thank you Dr Harrah for making me feel comfortable in my first visit with you on 9/15/22 I pray that you will be able to be my PCP for many years to come
Dr. Harrah has been my physician for 20+ years. Friendly, caring, and professional. I love Dr. Harrah and his wife, Mary, like family. I have a rare disorder that most doctors have never heard of, but he researched until he discovered what I have.
Very friendly staff. It is a small doctors office with a homey feel. Dr Harrah took his time and listened to everything I had to say. Addressed every question and concern I had. It's rare to sit and talk with a doctor for 30-40 mins. I would recommend him to anyone.
The best Doctor I have ever been to. That's why he is my family Dr. He and his staff are great people
Very personable Dr. Listens to you and doesn't make you feel rushed. Office staff is awesome as well.
Best PCP out there..
