Dr. Howard J Kapp MD

Dr. Kapp came highly recommended to me as the Dr. to perform my hip replacement and from start of my process to the finished product, I rate him the highest. His bedside manner, his surgical skills and thoroughly explaining each step in the process are second to none. Within 2 weeks I was already walking a mile daily and am scheduled for replacement of my other hip in a few weeks.

Last week was the first anniversary of my left hip replacement. Dr. Kapp is really nice, and makes every effort to answer questions and make you feel cared for and comfortable. His office staff has always been very, very nice. Yes, you will probably have to wait past your appointment time, but he will take time with you too, and those extra minutes throughout the day do add up. My hip is great and of course, no longer hurts. Yay! The home help people who came from Americare when i came home the same day were wonderful too. Dr. Kapp has been nursing my less-than-perfect knees and shoulders for a long time, and for that I am very grateful! As far as I'm concerned, he can have ten stars!

Dr Howard Kapp gave me a complete hip replacement in Aug 2021 after I broke my hip. He completely destroyed my life as I’ve used a walker and have been I physical therapy ever since. He tried to blame it on another doctors procedure that was minor and helped me very much. I was fine until I saw Kapp and have suffered much pain since. Beware of this doctor! He doesn’t deserve one star or ruining another’s life

I have had two successful surgeries with Dr. Kapp. He is a wonderful, caring, professional doctor. it is obvious he loves and takes pride in his work. I would recommend Dr. Kapp very highly to anyone who needs surgery...you won't be disappointed.

Had my knee replacement in November 2022. I'm in worse knee pain then before my surgery. I wish I would of never had him replace it! It's Effected my whole way of life!

Had a knee replacement December 2021! Still have problems ! Not one doctor can stop the pain ! Don’t do surgery with Dr Howard Kapp!

Dr. Kapp was fine. The wait and the staff are horrible. I have had two knee surgeries over the past two years. Every single appointment I had, I was made to wait on average an hour. Always the excuse was he had emergencies. Well, here’s an idea, plan for it!

Knee replacement failed. Continuing severe pain months after surgery took me back to Kapp’s office sobbing in a wheelchair, where I was told to “ join a gym”. In fact, after I sought help elsewhere and had a bone scan, I learned the prosthetic was loose and I had fractures. Had to have it completely redone by another surgeon

All staff and Dr Kapp treateme like I was Special! They smile, are humorous and yet Very Professional!! I enjoy my visits!!

The difference in Dr. Kapp and other doctors is that he is not afraid to take on challenges. This not only comes from me but I heard that remark from nurses that know his work. I had an unsuccessful knee replacement almost two years ago and it just was not getting better. He took me for a second opinion and it was determined that I needed a revision. Dr Kapp is one of the best that Naples has to offer. Years of experience and does more surgeries than most of his competitors. He also did a revision on another family member and she got back to golf fairly soon. I am hoping to play some tennis in a few months. I met patients in his office that could not believe how successful their hip surgery was. The doctor I had for my unsuccessful knee was very charismatic. Do you want bedside manner or a successful knee. Dr. Kapp is very caring and pleasant. He is hands on. Sees his office patients and visits them daily in the hospital.
