I am only giving 1 star, because I can’t leave a review with -0- stars. My 97yo mom has 3 ruptured discs in her back and sciatica as well, she has made numerous trips to this “place”, has gotten no results with any type of pain management, she has had surgeries, and at this point, she needs pain management as nothing can repair her issue. So, I take her in, she says she made an appointment with “the doctor”, who turned out to be a PA, the triage nurse took zero nots as to the conditions and surgeries that my mom has had done, and she said that was the first they were hearing about any of it, as she took no notes, the PA aka doctor, pops in, first impressions are everything, the cross between Harry Potter and Urkel didn’t work for me, the pull on rubber boots were beyond exceptional for a first appearance. I got to explain everything a second time as the first girl took no notes, then wanted to doubt any suggestions for pain management as they were worried about my mom’s long term health, 97 in agony versus some quality of life and maybe not living to 115 years of age. She did call in a prescription for steroids, although didn’t attach a phone number to said prescription, so when calling to check on it, it didn’t show up in the system. She did recommend some quack for pain therapy, but I had to take her to his officein Dayton to schedule an appointment back in Enon, after reading the reviews, I took a pass. I found her a local doc that took all things into consideration and is working with her now to mitigate the pain in her back.
Perry Khunn, PA is excellent, very compassionate, answers all his patient's questions and would take time to listen to any concerns you may have. Among the excellent staff are Erin and Stephanie are great in their jobs. They have a receptionist named "SHERRY" - she is SO RUDE in ALL her dealings with Western Medicine's patients and families both on the phone and in person. Thank you Western Medicine for taking good care of my whole family for more than ten years.
If you want to receive care and treatment i DON'T recommend western medicine at all.I started seeing Jacob dean about 3 years ago with neck pain. They sent me to dozens of specialist and i got 2 steroid injections in my neck which never helped. Also i was doing my own physical therapy at home. After about a year and a half of this i noticed a swollen lymph node and rash on my neck in same spot on same side of my neck that the pain was on. I told Jacob dean and his assistant perry kuhn about this and made count less visits very concerned about this. They never seemed concerned at all and suggested creams and physical therapy. Take a min to let that sync in..... I'm no Dr but a lymph node swollen this long should have a biopsy done on it and should be tested for lymphoma or something not just no answers after years of pain which has now moved into my shoulder. So i was very frustrated about them not caring and spending thousands of dollars in co-pays and specialist and decided to have a word with the administrator over the phone she acted like physical therapy was the answer and showed no signs of caring either. i got frustrated and cussed a couple times and she cared more about me cussing than my health. Its not like i called her a name or anything just used explicit words as i was talking. I don't suggest ever going here. i am going to follow up with another Dr and I'm sure they will do there job right unlike these people who just suggest stuff that makes literally no sense. Thanks for reading
The staff is friendly. Dr. Clack is great. He listens and explains everything in terms you understand.
Doctors and Staff are awesome. They also have X-RAY and labs available as well.
