"Living life to the fullest" is exemplified by Dr. Dohn's patients, who include world-class athletes and very active individuals. Dr. Dohn provides structural balance corrections so that the body can heal itself (as it does so well), including chiropractic adjustments and deep-tissue bodywork known as Hellerwork Structural Integration.
In more than 25 years of practice and study, Dr. Dohn has become known for his alternative approaches to the physical, behavioral and emotional problems that can cause people suffering.
Pain should be a short-term experience when the body is asking for professional attention of some kind. In most situations, we can find safe, non-pharmaceutical approaches to health problems.

James Dohn, D.C. graduated cum laude from Cleveland Chiropractic
College, Los Angeles, California in 1992. He has been certified in Hellerwork Structural Integration since 1985, and is currently on the teaching Staff of Hellerwork of Southern California.

In addition, Dr. Dohn has been trained in the unique energy healing techniques of Cynthia Lester. He also studied with and assisted Dr. Russ Smith in teaching Diversified Adjusting Technique for several years.
Dr. Dohn currently maintains a private practice in Long Beach, California, providing Hellerwork Structural Integration and Diversified Chiropractic care for his patients.
Dr. Dohn is also a certified Communication and Parenting Skills Instructor for the Thomas Gordon Organization.
A U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968, Dr. Dohn deeply loves his family and children.
