Dr. Wells began practicing in 1992. In December, 2006, Dr. Wells proudly relocated to North Pointe Office Park. The current facility consists of six operatories, a larger staff, and the most modern technology available.
James R. Wells, III, DMD, PSC
Dr. James R. Wells III grew up in Murray, KY, and graduated from Murray High School in 1985. He attended Murray State University until he transferred to the University of Kentucky and finished his undergraduate work. He was accepted into the University Of Kentucky College Of Dentistry and earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1992. After graduation, Dr. Wells moved back to his hometown of Murray and started his own dental practice. He has been in practice for 20 years. Dr. Wells, his wife Michelle, and his son Cole live in Calloway County. His oldest son, Hugh, is currently attending the University of Tennessee.
Lisa Bumpus, RDH
Lisa resides in Murray, KY. She attended Paducah Community College, where she earned the degree of Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 1981. She has worked for Dr. Wells for 20 years
Desirae Pitman, RDH
Desirae is from Graves County. She has 16 years of experience in the dental field, having been employed as a dental assistant and front office staff before attending Western Kentucky University and earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004. She has been employed by Dr. Wells for 6 years.
Hillary Sanderson
Hillary is from Mayfield, KY. She has earned certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant from the University of Louisville’s Dental Continuing Education Department. She is also University of Louisville certified in Coronal Polishing. She has worked for Dr. Wells for 6 years.
Whitney Tucker
Whitney is originally from Paris, TN, but currently resides in Murray, KY. She attended West Kentucky Community and Technical College, where she earned her diploma of Dental Assisting in 2009. She graduated with High Distinction and was the President of her Dental Assisting graduating class. She is an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant, and is also certified in Coronal Polishing. She has worked for Dr. Wells for 4 years.
Beth Phillips
Beth grew up in Murray, KY. She attended Murray State University where she earned the degree of Associate of Arts in Office Systems in 1999. She has 15 years of office experience and has worked for Dr. Wells for 8 years.
