Dr. Scanland has been practicing for 27 year and is Board Certified by the ASPS and ASAPS.

Dr. Jeanne A. Scanland, a lifelong resident of
Chattanooga, graduated from the University
of Tennessee, Magna Cum Laude with a
degree in Chemistry. She received her medical
degree from the University of Tennessee
Center for Health Sciences in Memphis,
Tennessee.
Dr. Scanland completed a six-year residency in
General Surgery and a two-year residency in
Plastic Surgery at the UT College of Medicine
at Erlanger Hospital. She then completed a
rotational fellowship in Atlanta, Nashville
and Birmingham in cosmetic breast surgery
and breast reconstruction.
Dr. Scanland began private practice in 1991
and founded The Center for Plastic &
Reconstructive Surgery, P.C. in 1993. She has
surgical privileges at all local hospitals and
outpatient facilities.
