Dr. Jeffrey Fernyhough, MD

Dr. Fernyhough destroyed my very busy life. He didn't listen when I was screaming in agony that something was wrong. We found out 2 weeks later that my double spinal fusion hardware had come apart with pieces floating like shrapnel in my back. The pain I was forced to endure at the hands of Dr. Fernyhough cannot be measured. I was writhing and screaming...I was tortured at a level thatis unfathomable. I'm now forced to face a life of disability and limited mobility. I have permanent nerve damage in my lumbar and both lower legs. He showed no signs or urgency once he saw the horror of his work. He said "you'll need a revision....we can get you in a week from tomorrow." HE WANTED ME TO WAIT 8 MORE DAYS!!!! After suffering for two weeks already. All the surgeons I tell this to are HORRFIED! They said I should have been sent straight to the Hospital! And he wanted me to wait 8 more days. I would trust anyone, anywhere over Dr. FERNYHOUGH.

Dr Fernyhough was an incredible and caring spine surgeon in treating my years of chronic severe low back pain which I suffered from- with a minimally invasive procedure in his office in Boca Raton, Florida. This treatment relieved my low back pain almost immediately! He gave me my active life back!! I have returned to snow skiing, biking and kitesurfing regularly and working long days standing and sitting,without any pain medications. I am very happy to say I don't have any of the unremitting nagging pain that I thought I may have to live with... Previously I had undergone treatment in New York City, and New Orleans; without lasting relief. I even required a wheelchair for transport in airports, and was eating way too many advils. By far one of the nicest and skilled doctors i have ever met. Hey, i trusted this man with my spine. Dear WHINERS, so u might have a bit of a wait, chill, he might have an emergency at the hospital, or an injection patient. If u want fast service go to MCD, if u want greatness tell them i sent u.

I had wrote my appointment for 10:40 am..was 7 min late..the girl said it was at 10:20..lie also never called to even remind the appointment as it was 2 weeks away. To top it off she was so rude when I came in..nasty attitude girl of color in the front. She told me well since I was late I would have to come back at a later time. EVERYTIME I go there I wait at least an hour to be seen. There was no reason they couldn’t keep my appointment . They also just changed up my dr like a was nothing. It’s just an assembly line. I think Dr Ferneough is a good Dr. too bad they chose another for me? Very irritated about the patient service that I received . That girl does not belong speaking to the public! She had me so mad I didn’t even make another appointment! I don’t think I care too as she may be the rude face in the front. I don’t think I will be able to contain what I want to say to her.

Dr. Fernyhough is top notch! I was plagued with herniated discs in my back that prevented me from competing as a professional athlete. He got me back on my feet and allowed me to continue my athletic career without missing a step. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr Fernhough and PA Scott are dedicated to treating their patients.Their office staff is very competent in scheduling and pre-surgical preparation. After two years of treatment including two lumbar fusions and laminectomy my stenosis condition has improved and I can workout with Aquajogging for over one hour almost daily. After office recommendation I lost 45 Lbs and have maintained loss as per Dr Fernhough's initial consult. Thanks again Dr Fernhough and your staff!

Dr. Ferneyhough gave me several injections for back problem. Some relief. He always encouraged me to try other solutions before surgery that he felt was necessary. I finally chose fusion surgery. A resounding success. From the moment I woke in recovery to now 9.months later, I am.pain free. He is my hero.

Did an epidural on my father without an MRI and hurt him terribly. Said he should not have done it after getting MRI results and did not refer Him to a pain specialist despite severe excruciating and debilitating pain. "Does not speak to patients on Tuesdays, they are only injection days" and sent dad away to wait for an appointment day. Ridiculous.

Always kept waiting one or two hours. No respect for my time.
