I am a general obstetrician/gynecologist practicing with Palo Alto Medical Foundation. I was born and raised in Kentucky, the daughter of a small town's general practitioner. The close relationships that he developed with his patients over time, inspire me to bring personalized, "small town" medicine to my patients.
I received a BA in Psychology, graduating Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St. Louis. I returned to my “bluegrass” roots to pursue a medical degree, graduating with honors at the University of Kentucky. I completed my obstetrics/gynecology residency at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara where I received recognition for outstanding clinical patient care, teaching, community service, and advanced surgical skills in minimally invasive approaches including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
During my medical training, I spent several months abroad devoted to medical and surgical volunteer work in underserved rural areas in Mexico and Guatemala.
I speak basic Cantonese and medical Spanish. I look forward to the privilege of taking care of you.
