Dr. Joseph Pechter is a periodontist in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Pechter grew up in Vero Beach, Florida and received his dental license and periodontics specialty training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating magna cum laude. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Pechter earned his Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and also worked on campus as an Emergency Medical Technician.
Dr. Pechter is a member of the American Board of Periodontology and the Southern Academy of Periodontology, and he publishes articles in the American Journal of Periodontology and Dimensions of Dental Hygiene about implant maintenance and gum disease.
