Dr. Kaari believes strongly in the three pillars of evidence based practice; science & research, clinical experience an individual patient goals. He has experience working with patients of all types, from
children to elderly, from weekend warriors to Olympic level athletes and professional hockey players.
He practices a “hands on” approach combining his manual skills with neuromuscular rehabilitation, pre-habilitation and medical acupuncture in order to optimize his patient’s recovery and performance.
He was born in Finland and practiced physiotherapy there after graduating from Hanze University Groningen, in the Netherlands. After a few years of clinical practice Dr. Kaari moved to Toronto and continued his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He received his training in Acupuncture from the McMaster University Medical Contemporary Acupuncture program. He also has training in Dry Needling techniques. He is trained in the treatment and management of concussion and post- concussion syndrome through Complete Concussion Management. He has an extensive background in ice hockey and has served as an Athletic Therapist for the Wellington Dukes Hockey club. He has also completed the Elite Mentorship program of Assessment and Treatment of NHL Hockey players. He is an active member in good standing with Ontario Chiropractic Association,
Canadian Chiropractic Association and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. He is also a registered physiotherapist in Finland.
