Dr. Larry F. McNair, DDS

I was scheduled for an appointment with Dr. McNair, and I guess this practice is going for a 'Mom 'n Pop Shop' vibe in a residential home which is fine, but the outside of the facility is in disrepair to the extent I almost didn't even go up to the door. There is a large shipping container along side the home with vents and electrical running to it, the front porch is cluttered with recycling and an exercise bike, the front gate is broken, and everything had a thick layer of dust and dirt on it. Not to mention the torn up/broken sidewalk directly in front of the home, which I understand is not their fault, but makes it hard to even access the gate. To be clear, I can't speak to actual services rendered because no one ever let me in the door or answered the doorbell, but I am choosing to go elsewhere for my dental care.

Dr. McNair has been my dentist for over eight years. I love coming to his office; he offers a relaxation chair, the ambience is soothing with great blues & jazz music playing in the background. The dental work I've received has been great. From the teeth pulling to getting new dentures Doc takes extra pride in his work. He relates to patients on a personal connection.

Wow. I never received a pain free dental procedure in 49 years! Dr. McNair delivered a pain free procedure, while thoroughly removing/replacing old fillings! Wonderful experience. I'm a patient for life! His bedside manner is professional, patient, and easy to talk to. I appreciate his patience in explaining what he was doing step by step, listening to my concerns, answering any questions I had, and making me feel so comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Also, the lovely queen that assist on the administrative side is wonderful as well. She's very informative and always demonstrate a pleasant vibe, while interacting with me. Dr. Larry McNair was the best dentist I cared to make an appointment with, and he cared that I had terrible experiences with former dentists in the past, attending school out of state. Since then, my children and my former spouse have made preventative routines and needed appointments over the years, but I continue to procrastinate. I was pushing back over my own oral hygiene needs. Do bad moments go a long way? That may be less true but not a lie. I’m now more conscious that concentrating on bad memories brings on more bad moments. My most recent experience. The advice you gave was the best dental advice I had. I was pondering over what to do. I googled Dr. McNair's website. I came to his Review Us page and was excited to see the best advice I was ever given, deserving my sincerest apology and explanation for my past behavior when I abruptly left his exam Room. I went elsewhere to learn better. To make things right from my self-neglect and lack of appreciation towards Dr. McNair and his family-like staffers. Please accept this Review, which is another form of good advice from a Professional and curious Dental Service, I knew so well, as a thank you for being there for my whole family and me over the years. When my previous dentist retired, I was very skeptical about going to a new dentist. After more than a year, I finally chose Dr Larry McNair because his practice was only three minutes from my home. During my first consultation visit, the front desk lady named Tahiti, was very friendly, courteous, humorous and professional. Likewise, Dr McNair connected with me very easily, was so friendly and had exciting conversation. Most importantly, Dr McNair promised a pain free tooth extraction, scheduled for the following week after taking antibiotics. Overall, Dr McNair kept his promise and I DID NOT FEEL ANY PAIN during the entire procedure... Special Thanks Dr McNair!

A very kind and caring staff. Always have genuine smiles on their faces never any frowns. Dr. McNair has an awesome spirit for a dentist. Makes you feel very comfortable and he's very patient with you. He doesn't treat you as a statistic but as a human being, with sincere needs. Also some of the procedures I've had that required anesthesia I was never in any pain, which is a plus for me. And on top of all that the ambiance of the jazz music that plays in the background makes it that much better. From the very first day that I entered into Dr. McNair's office, I have never turned my back to see another dentist. He is kind and caring. His staff is totally awesome. His methods to make you feel comfortable, during your visits are fantastic! I would recommend Dr. McNair to anyone and as a matter of fact, today I did. One of my friends who has fear of the Dentist is going to check him out and I know that she will be okay. Thank you Dr. McNair for being who you are. Oh and his Jazz music is off the chain!!!!! Dr McNair and his staff are knowledgeable, awesome and very caring. They treated me like family. He responded to my emergency and truly helped me get rid of the pain of a cracked tooth with an exposed nerve and he fixed it in a pain free way. i use to be scared of the dentist from a past bad experience but Dr McNair has shown me there is no reason to be scared any more. Pain free experience from Dr McNair's dental office, for me and my sister. I received teeth cleaning, and my sister had a tooth removed that a another dentist had started with severe pain and without completing it, in other words Dr McNair had to correct a problem. absolutely A+ service. Beautiful decors, soft relaxing music, and overwhelming polite and courteous staff. My dentist for life!

Dr McNeair is like family, My family and neighbors goes to Dr McNeair for years, he is open and honest, he handled you with care, and if anyone knows anybody with autism.please look no further he specializes in patients with Austmis children and adults.
