Dr Pupo is a decent doctor but the negatives of this office far outweigh the fact that he’s decent. The office is dirty, proper sanitation is not preformed. His nurses are not nurses and are unqualified. The reception staff is miserable and there is no communication within the office. They don’t return phone calls, line is almost always busy and when you finally do get through, they are nasty. The doctor doesn’t even reference back in the child’s charts, he prescribed my daughter an antibiotic that she is allergic too, which was in her chart.
Dr. Pupo was my pediatrician and now cares for both my daughter and son. He is one of a kind that they just “don’t make anymore”. He truly cares for your children and prioritizes their health and well-being. As a new parent, every little thing scares you. Dr. Pupo displays confidence, competence and provides educated and experienced responses. He is the only pediatrician in the office and, although appointments may take longer than what is expected- covid aside, this allows for 1:1 continuity of care and he never makes you feel rushed. All questions are answered or responded to promptly. Even on off-hours or weekends, he is available 24/7 and returns calls and goes above and beyond to provide your little ones with the best care possible. I recommend him to anyone!
Ignore the one star comments, Dr. Pupo was recommended to me by a family friend. She took her kids all to see him the last 27 years, I had the pleasure of meeting him he was an awesome doctor and handle my daughter as I would. Great staff and great place, so what if people had to wait a little long, you didn't die? Some days people get busy or sick, If you have an emergency you'd go to an ER and wait twice as long.
We’ve been with Dr. Pupo for over 17 years, and travel to keep him as our pediatrician. He came to us as a referral shortly after our first was born and my wife was diagnosed with cancer. It was a hard time, and Dr. Pupo showed us compassion and genuinely cared. He is the best, by far, and has always gone above and beyond. He’s family to us, is knowledgeable, compassionate, and just a cool dude to be around. We have been fortunate to get to know him over the years and he’s been there through all the ups and downs. He’s diagnosed illnesses when other physicians blew us off or when the E.R. Made a mistake. He has been a blessing to our family. Yes, the wait can be long, which we have experienced elsewhere as well for appointments. That’s just the nature of a busy office. The difference is that we are not rushed once we are seen, and we meet with the doctor every time, not a nurse or assistant. I wish all doctors were like him. He’s definitely the gold standard.
Dr. Pupo was my dr as a child, and now hes been my sons pediatrician for 12 years. Hes great with him, explains things and doesn't rush us out like many other doctors I've experienced.
Dr. Pupo is awesome with my 2 boys 9 & 5 and myself. He always listens to what my kids and I have to say, and he makes excellent recommendations. His staff are great and I love the fact that a HUMAN, not a machine answers the phone when I call to schedule an appointment! Couldn't be happier!
BEYOND SHOCKED that this doctor has good reviews? Their office is unsanitary . His staff is incompetent and will eventually get him reported. They have a poor communication throughout the entire office . I would not recommend anyone send their kids here because there is an issue with proper documentation. They've given my kid the same vaccination twice because they did not properly document it. They also keep trying mis-diagnosis my kid with asthma so that they can over charge my insurance. Can you imagine all these issues with a DOCTOR's OFFICE responsible for caring for CHILDREN !!!
I started taking my baby to him about 6 months because a friend recommended him to me. Great doctor. I really love it here. Expect to wait though for a bit when you get there but honestly it's worth the wait. I will recommend him to all parents seeking a doctor for their child.
I like Dr. Pupo but I called in to ask a question about my baby and the receptionistJessica was so nasty and mean to me on the phone that I couldn’t believe it. I’m not one to make reviews but something should be done. This isn’t the first time I’ve called and had an issue with a reception.
Horrible wait time . Horrible communication . Staff doesn’t follow their own Covid protocols . I highly recommend ANY other doctor . Especially if I were bringing an infant .
