Wish I had seen the reviews before I went in. She is very abrasive, rude, and condescending. First thing I did when I got back to my car was send my primary a request for a referral to any other dermatologist. It's a shame -- she did seem very knowledgeable and that is the most important thing, but I'd rather take my chances with an equally qualified doctor than go where I'm made to feel like I'm, at best, an inconvenience with no measurable intelligence and therefore not worthy of her time or attention. Her receptionist was great, her assistant was great, Dr. Crawford was decidedly not.
Dr Crawford was very knowledgeable and direct with her diagnosis of my skin condition. She printed a description, analyzed my condition, and then came up with an appropriate plan for treatment. I can speak for other users here, but she was perfectly hospitable and professional to me. I appreciate a doctor that gets to the point, is quick and efficient. Bravo!
I had not seen the reviews until I did this search to find her number to cancel my follow-up I made while in office. I was very shocked to see all the negative reviews which seem to be on par with my experience. I didnt feel I received the most professional service from Dr. Crawford as the energy was really off and she was slightly rude. I’m giving her three stars because although she wasn't very nice, she diagnosed me correctly and resolved my issue with the prescriptions she sent to my pharmacy. At this point there is no need to see her again, as any future issues I have if any I’ll go elsewhere.
Finally, after twenty-five years of searching for a dermatologist who could diagnose and treat my chronic, toe-fungus issue, I found Dr. Lynda Crawford who figured it out the first visit. She prescribed exactly what eventually cured it. No fuss, no muss, she knows her medicine. You will not find a finer dermatologist anywhere in Maryland...I know from experience. If you have a skin issue that is out of your control, that needs immediate attention, that no one else can help you with, then Dr. Crawford is the one to go to. GM 17 Nov. 2022
well I thought it was just me. I just happen to go back and look at reviews of this doctor only to find that everybody feels the exact same way. She has the worst attitude of any doctor I've ever been to. I actually told her this. I told her she needs to watch how she talks to her patients and that she has a horrible attitude and I walked out. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one. I don't know why she's so mad or mean but I see it is definitely affecting her business now. Such a shame because she is actually a good doctor, like she knows what she's talking about. She just needs to work on how she relates to her patients because it's absolutely horrific. I walked out after that day and never went back.
Had first visit with Dr. Crawford. Her staff is pleasant, and they greet you with a smile. Dr. Crawford was VERY professional and she listens, and explains in detail what's going on with my skin. I feel pleased with her and her staff.
I was a first time client w/Dr. Crawford and had high hopes before attending my appointment. Let me first start of by saying that I was surprised that during Covid there was a close appointment for me to be seen. I should of known then that something wasn’t right. When I first arrived, the receptionist and I had a nice conversation and it seemed that the other patients that were leaving from being seen were pleased and regulars. From that I had no concern. I then was taken to the back exam room to talk to Dr. Crawford’s assistant. She seemed to be okay as well and while I was waiting for the Dr to come see me, I played on my phone. After Dr. Crawford finally came in, first thing I noticed was there was no eye contact and that she sat very far from me. She barely examined me, didn’t touch my face, didn’t even come close enough to even really -for what I feel- see what my skin really looked like. Then instantly stated that what she was going prescribe . Never diagnosed me . Just told me a treatment plan that I began to ask questions about and she would cut me off mid sentence and raise her voice in an aggressive tone all because I had questions about what each medication was for. Not even answering the question I was going to ask but yet something completely different. She believed that she was explaining everything well but it couldn’t be the case if I still had questions. At that point I began to get frustrated and have an attitude because her bed side manner was horrible and she seems like she came in already with a treatment plan that she probably does with everyone. Didn’t ask if my face was dry or oily or anything. After she walked out I sat in the room to further look at a treatment sheet she provided me and could hear her in the back office telling her staff that I was rude and didn’t think things were going to work out . After confronting her about how unprofessional she was her only excuse was “I thought you already left”. Mind you , there was only 3 seconds in between her leaving … I mean STORMING out of the room before talking about her interaction with me. You know it’s bad when your own receptionist is asked if the dr is always like that and rude and they state yes. I really should of read the reviews before booking. Save yourself a trip and horrible experience and look for a different dermatologist. She should retire if she can’t learn how to talk to people that she is servicing! Y’all better believe I got my co-pay back too !!
I have been a patient of Dr. Crawford's for several years now and have never had a bad experience. I have experienced wait times, as I have at almost every other Doctor's Office I've visited, I've never had an unpleasant experience with Office Staff whether in person or over the phone, and Dr. Crawford is definitely straight and to the point. However, she has also, on every occasion, correctly and efficiently identified ways to treat whatever issues I have had. Which is why I personally visit a Doctor, and why I have returned several times over the years. If you want a solution to whatever Dermatology issue you are having, she will provide you with one.
Dr. Crawford and her staff were pleasant and I feel like my experience was simple & straight to the point. My concerns were addressed and medicine prescribed. Reason for four stars: I wish that there was a website and that the new client paperwork was in a digital form. I like the ease of filling out paperwork before my office visit.
I wish I read the reviews before I went here… but I didn’t. And truth be told after my visit, I wasn’t going to leave a review but something kept well me to come back and see if it was just me.. and not to my surprise it wasn’t. My experience was horrible and it still troubles me to this day about two months removed from my appointment. I do want to acknowledge that my review is not pointed at the receptionist at all, as it was a pleasant experience working with her. But the Dr. was the complete opposite. Not only was she rude but such an attitude that was so uncalled for. Like what is doing you? I couldn’t even fully explain the reason of my visit and the issue I’m having without her cutting me out and making me feel like I don’t know what I’m talking about. Everyone experiences dry skin. Well ma’am my happened after I reacted to a soap, on only one hand. Regardless of my issue, I will NEVER I know we should never say never come here again. She’s rude point blank period. And felt that she just issued me whatever just to get me out of there. Save yourself the time. It’s not even worth it. Idc if I have to drive an hour out.. this place won’t see me again.
