I had taken my daughter to Dr. Kaye for 2 root canals. Dr. Kaye was gentle, attentive and changed his demeanor to engage my daughter and make her feel comfortable. She was provided novacaine and gas and left the office in no pain and no pain later that 2 Tylenol couldn't address. He took thorough time to explain the procedure on the phone prior for my own self knowledge. We were taken on time and out quickly. Office is very clean and staff was pleasant and accommodating.
I had 2 root canals done by Dr. Kaye in the past 18 months - both were quick, pain-free experiences. I really don't like needles or going to the dentist in general, but Dr. Kaye obviously knows what he is doing. Clean office, professional staff and I have an odd brand of Dental insurance that they accepted. Highly reccomended!
Getting a root canal is not something anyone looks forward to, but Dr. Kaye did a great job. It was surprisingly quick, and he did excellent work. I've already recommended him to several friends and family members. If you need a root canal, he's a great choice.
I've had a few dentists I didn't like, but this entire practice was an absolute joke. I was confident with all of the positive reviews and the fact that an immediate family member had dental work done by this poor excuse of a endodontist some time ago. I, however, as a person with an anxiety disorder which he was well aware of at the time he appointment was made have never been so harassed and stigmatized by a medical professional. He obviously had an opinion of me before I even walked in the door -- which I promptly walked back out of, as he was not at all interested in providing the best care for either my physical or emotional well-being. If you're phobic, mentally ill, or have other special needs, this is NOT the man to go to -- unless you're looking for someone who will shove their hand in your face and tell you that you're only hope is to pop a couple of Xanax and find someone who will knock you out.
I didn't have to wait long and the chairs in the waiting room were comfortable. Dr. Kaye does a very careful exam and explains each step in a procedure.
I am terrified of the dentist hence the reason I had to get a root canal. But literally I had NO pain with this dentist, and was in and out of the office in 20 minutes. Crazy skilled.
