Dr Klughers i think is probably the best naturopathic physician in CT! Every time I meet with her, I am amazed by her knowledge. I come at her with every single question from a bunch of videos & news articles I read, and just genuine curiosity and she is able to answer them all with the knowledge she has from both her medical and natural experience. She is also very kind and open to answering any question, no matter how silly, and responds quickly to my messages through her online portal as well. Through working with her the past year, I was able to get off medication and live life through food medicine. Although we still have tons of work ahead of us, I am happy with the amount of progress we’ve done so far and can see us moving in the right direction as far as my health goes.
Words can't describe how much appreciation I have for Dr. Nicole; her help has been tremendously grand for my health. Dr. Klughers has a compassion to help others and she gets to the bottom of each of your concerns. Her medical background is extensive and she can give you an outlook both on naturopathic and western medical treatment approaches. She listened thoroughly and addressed all my concerns, following up as soon as she has any updates on labs and just to check up on me and see how I am doing. I will continue seeing her, and have definitely recommended her to a few of my friends looking for alternative approaches and a compassionate knowledgeable doctor.

Dr. Nicole is a great physician who truly cares about the health and overall well-being of her patients. Most importantly, she takes the time to get know her patients and understand their entire life situation - not just the health concerns of the moment. She appreciates that in order for her to be able to help patients on their well-being journey, she needs to understand their challenges, their lifestyle, their approaches to food, drink and exercise, the things that may be causing stress and what tools, resources, changes and recommendations will be most helpful for the particular individual patient. She knows that holistic care requires an understanding of the whole person, which is regularly changing. She always asks questions so she knows what is happening with her patients in real-time. But, none of this would be overly helpful without her deep knowledge of the human body, how it works, and what changes a patient can undertake to help it heal and prosper in a natural and healthy way with her guidance along the entire journey. I am very grateful for her expertise, teaching, compassion, patience and skillful approach to holistic healthcare and well-being.
Dr. Nicole is the most compassionate, thorough and knowledgeable physician I have ever met. She really listens to her patients and truly wants to get to the root of the problem not just treat the symptoms. I was ill for months. Traditional doctors would not discuss or even explore alternatives to the harsh protocol they prescribed, despite it making me even more ill. I found Dr. Nicole through a family member and I have been treating with her ever since. She was able to prescribe an effective treatment, without harsh medicines, and I feel better than I have in months. Dr. Nicole cares deeply about her patients and their well being. She treats the whole person mind, body, soul. I wish all doctors were like her.
Dr. Klughers is an amazing and caring person to work with. Too many doctors today spend little to no time with the patient and are quick to prescribe medications - this should not be the system we use to better our health and wellbeing in today's world! Dr. Nicole really takes the time to listen and understand you to get to the root cause of things and treat you in the best way possible looking at the whole picture and you as a whole person vs just treating symptoms. I would recommend her to anyone of any age, these type of treatments should be the norm for everyone!
