Dr. Norris

I’m not sure what’s going on here but I believe this doctor is just taking money from Medi-Cal and not doing anything. I’ve been on the phone with him several times for something serious and he keeps telling me it will take months to get an appointment and yet I never hear back from him, months later. This does not seem to be a practicing doctor yet it seems like he’s pretending he is still practicing. I would not even consider this doctor for a moment.

I don't get all the negative ratings. I like Dr. Norris. I get along with him and he has made the correct diagnosis multiple times, for both myself and my 17 year old son. Keep an open mind. I also have a doctor at Stanford that I have used for over twenty years. For something critical, I would go to Stanford because they have the best supporting team around. For a local family doctor, I recommend Dr. Norris.

Barry Norris should not be a licensed doctor! My wife was recently diagnosed with a serious health concern and was referred back to Dr. Norris to go over possible treatment options. He apparently began ranting about other doctors and also started verbally abusing my wife. He had zero helpful information to offer and told her that he did not want to help and that she should find another doctor. No one should be subject to this man's abuse. He is an embarrassment to the medical profession. I just filed a complaint to the CA medical board. Find another doctor!!!

If I could give less than one star I would. “Doctor” Norris misread blood results and prescribed the wrong medication. I’ve never had a more dismissive doctor in my life and I’ve had Crohn’s disease since I was a child and have had to see a million of them. P.S. I put doctor in quotes because it’s quite easy to decipher results from a blood test FOR YOUR OWN HEALTH AND WELL BEING, AVOID THIS PLACE.

Condescending jerk with no bedside manner. He repeated the phrase, "You shouldn't be able to afford this" to me like I was getting a great deal on a Black Friday sale. He's a goddamned doctor and he seems to have no interest in actually helping patients so much as he does telling them about "Obama care" and how we're "grandfathered in". His nurses are incredibly polite however almost so much so that it seems like they're trying to make up for the uncaring old man they work for.

This guys a real scum bag. I waited over an hour on more than one occasion. During my most recent visit he struggled to remember anything about the medications he prescribed me in the past. He was in a rush to get out the door and even started to walk out twice, I had to call him back to finish what I wanted to talk about. Then my final issue I brought up he replied “well that’s a big issue we’ll have to discuss that next month”. Extremely unprofessional. I am filing complaints everywhere I’m allowed and have already switched PCP’s. DONT GO HERE!

Wow what a wonderful doctor every time we need him to help us he is there always calls us back has been so wonderful during this pandemic and he has been helping me for over 20 years and I’m still healthy thank you so much Dr Barry Norris we have such a wonderful experience with you every time we’re done with our appointments we always go down to the beach because it’s in such a wonderful location Dr Barry Norris is so funny so nice and so sweet and the people that work in the office are so kind I really like it because it’s different than other places it really feels like home I love this doctor so much I recommend him to anybody who wants to go to a doctor

Barry makes appointments easy and casual for my daughter. Much better than having to go to a big office.
