Quite possibly one of the most miserable women I’ve encountered at a doctor’s office resides behind the desk and answers the phone. In addition, the doctor never even called me after I told the officer manager that I had several questions regarding my condition. This surprised me, because the dr, whom I met twice, had a pleasant bedside manner. To make matters worse, the prescription I needed was incorrectly submitted, which actually resulted in all of this office’s true colors to surface. Patients’ welfare is definitely not a priority here. I’m thankful this happened and hope I can save others from the treatment I received here.
Very ignorant staff. Not helpful at all and try their best to delay to forward your basic blood work results.
I just left Dr. Herson's office. I have had thyroid issues for years... and yes.. if you have thyroid imbalances, you have to take synthroid! And get your blood checked every 3-6 months! All I can say is that this is by FAR the nicest, most knowledgeable doctor I have ever been to. I walked into his office and was greeted by such nice ladies. He has a really cool thermometer scanner that reads your temp by looking into a tablet and it scans you and also makes sure you have a mask on. I felt totally safe in his waiting room they said they only allow 2 at a time. I had to call when I got there and then they told me when to come in. The wait was not long at all maybe 15 min at most. His office is like going into a boutique. I have been to other doctors that are owned by these big corporations that are run like a factory. This office is like what it should be to see a doctor.. totally personalized and kind care. I have been having thyroid issues and PCOS and he took the time to listen to my worries. His nurse took blood there so I did not have to go to an outside lab which was amazing!!! I left here feeling like I got so much accomplished. At times like this, during Covid, it is nice to know that there are people like Dr. Herson who know what to do. I will be highly recommending this Endocrinologist to all my friends and family!
Dr Herson is awesome and Kelly in the office is such a pleasure! I have dealt with some nasty staff at several doctor's offices. It is so refreshing to deal with pleasant people. I was on vacation and had an emergency with my insulin pump and within an hour of calling the office my meds were called in! Dr. Herson is very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend them!
Extremely careless office staff. Ignored my new endocrinologist and my attempts to have records forwarded. My auto mechanic has better follow up skills :
I have seen other Endocrinology Doctors in the past, and wasn't very happy with the answers I received. I have been Doctor Herson's patient for a little over 4 years, and he has been spot on all my issues. I highly reccomend Dr. Herson for his care, and knowledge with my issues......Joe Hill
first appointment with dr - very hasty, knowledge on male hormones limited but he will make you think he knows it all. This dr made my first ineffective endo look like a genius. unreal. hormones being within range is not always good for a person - usually hormones, including thyroid hormones, need to be in optimal range. He also did not take blood pressure, he instead ask hows your blood pressure. I had to ask him to take it. Also, turns on his thyroid u/s machine and does literally a 10 second scan on my thyroid and said its fine. Office never called back to go over labs he took. will not go back.
I am extremely disappointed to say that Dr. Herson was so unprofessional, condescending and curt during my visit today that I got up and walked out. His behavior and lack of attention or concern for a patient was shocking and left me without the follow-up care that I needed.
Very courteous staff. The Doctor is young and engaging. Seems to care about the health of his clients
Very happy w/ this office, have been coming here for over 14 years. Love that I can get exam, sono, biopsies and blood work all in one place!
