In 1997 Dr. Robert Purdey renovated the Felker home and converted the Victorian architecture into a dental office. He won several awards for the renovation and was featured in two magazines. Dr. Purdey has been practicing in this office since 1998.
Dr. Robert Purdey graduated from Loma Linda School of nursing in 1984 with a BSN. He then graduated from Loma Linda School of dentistry in 1988 with a DDS. After graduation Dr. Robert Purdey worked in various group practices in southern California. He had a private practice in Laguna Niguel, California from 1994-1997 which he specialized in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. In 1997 he moved to Dalton, Georgia where he renovated the Felker home, an outstanding example of Victorian architecture. He converted the home into a dental office and has been practicing in this office since 1998. Certified in Georgia, California and the Western Regional Boards. He also had additional training in sedation dentistry and cosmetic techniques. In January 2013 Dr. Purdey began practicing Botox and Juvaderm in the office. He completed the required courses for facial fillers and Botox for facial cosmetics with the AAFE. According to the director Dr. Louis Malcmacher, Dr. Purdey scored in the 95th percentile across the nation. Dr. Purdey also took extensive courses in the treatment of TMD (TMJ). Our talent in keeping our patients looking younger and feeling healthier now includes our abllity to erase wrinkles, enhance lips, and provide anti-aging treatments and skin care options. Robert Purdey D.D.S. is dedicated in providing his patients with the personalized, gentle care that they deserve. Our goal at this office is to deliver state-of-the-art preventive and restorative dental care in a friendly and comfortable environment.
