As someone who suffered from from an extremely debilitating phobia of dental services, which even mental health professionals I sought out to assist me with did not ease, it was easier for me to deal with the pain and embarrassment of my broken and missing teeth about 3/4 of of them rather than seek out treatment, even with the knowledge that it was a very unhealthy life choice for myself. With the help of loved ones who took control of setting up the process, from calling for information, and setting up a consultation without my knowledge until after it was booked, I visited Dental Solutions of Binghamton to see if I finally would be mentally and physically strong enough under the extreme stress that took over me from even viewing dental ads on TV would cause, let alone walking into an office. Even before stepping in the front door as on official patient they were warned of my phobia during the information seeking phone call, the staff went out of their way to come up with out of the box solutions to try and help ease my fear to help me, even though in the end, the regulations put in place due to the pandemic would not allow them to happen it turns out. Even so, this team went out of their way to work with me to make me feel as comfortable as possible. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff up front was very warm, welcoming, and comforting. Then with the initial consultation with Dr. Sambursky in the conference room, as well as his team in the surgical suite, to Dr. Fritz and his assistants who handled all the aesthetics of my implants and installation, I was treated in a very compassionate way during the entire process. They made sure I was always comfortable, and while saying they were very professional is easy to do, it was more than that. Every single staff member, whether they were directly involved in my case or not, went above and beyond to provide a friendly atmosphere to bring my stress levels down, and gave me breaks from not only the physical effects of the process, but the mental breakdowns I had during it all as well, and not once did they push me before I was composed to begin again, no matter how much it affected their schedule. I truly felt as though they treated me as they would a member of their family. Not only did they utilize their knowledge and experience not to keep my informed and assured in dealing with unexpected damage that was discovered during the initial extraction surgery that wasn't able to be seen on the initial scans, but the use of the personalble empathy and humor went above and beyond to keep me more relaxed. In the end, their skills let me put the pain and embarrassment of my smile status behind me and helped me not only be able to enjoy many foods I had not had for a long time, but learn how to smile instead of smirk again, and be proud when I did, instead of ashamed. I cannot recommend this group enough for those who have fear of the dental community that makes people hesitate in seeking help they may need!! Thank you to each and every member of this office for giving me a new lease and outlook on life!!
The staff is great. During both of my visits, the doctor/owner was creepy, disinterested, dismissive, and uncaring. He asked me questions over and over and over BOTH TIMES until I gave the answer he wanted And he wrote down his own answer anyway!. As someone with severe ptsd regarding dentistry, it was painful. And expensive. I will not be back. Edit: dear office, I told you my issues on the way out. I'm sorry that you don't want to correct them.
Dental Solutions began with Dr. Mike Sostowski for myself personally and has evolved into such a wonderful group of people that give amazing care for their patients and community. I found that this group makes it incredibly easy to stay on top of your dental health. Dr. Zeitsman and Dr. DiPalma have been amazing filling in the shoes of Dr. Mike since he retired. Shout out to the front office staff for being so kind and courteous. The hygienists are also very knowledgable and thorough. Thanks Dental Solutions!
I have been coming to Dental Solutions now for a couple of years. In that time, I have had several procedures done. I have just finished the process of three implants and I am beyond happy with my results! The staff is impeccable, so warm and inviting making you feel like family. Dr. Sambursky and his assistant Lauren are phenomenal! Throughout my entire process, everything was explained thoroughly and I was always made to feel at ease. I would recommend Dental Solutions for all of your dental needs. Come let them give you the smile you deserve!
This is by far one of the best dental practices in the area, not only for prosthodontist care, but general dentistry care. The front desk staff make you feel right at home immediately when you walk in the door. I am a patient of Dr. Zietsman, who truly is the epitome of integrity, kindness and sincerity. I had a wonderful experience meeting with Dr.Sambursky then being taken care of by Dr. "Fritz" Zietsman who fitted me with new dentures. He did a great job and is very warm, funny and caring. I had a bad experience in the past and was afraid of getting new ones made that I paid for but wouldn't like.The process was easy, the quality top notch and the staff phenomenal! I would highly recommend this office for any of your needs,knowing that they care and stand by their work and you!
The dental work I received at Dental Solutions of Binghamton was excellent. I needed a variety of procedures including an implant, crowns and extraction. All were done with professionalism and the staff were all helpful and friendly.
Beautiful office with a kind and compassionate staff. Dr.Sambursky was gentle, thorough, and was able to answer all of the questions I had. He was able to give me several options for treatment. I am very grateful I chose to come here!
The care that I received from Dr. Sambursky and his team was excellent. I received a pre-estimate of costs and payment is expected at time of service. They bill your dental insurance as a courtesy. My implant fits perfectly and the process was smooth and without trauma. Dr. Sambursky’s calm, kind demeanor put me at ease, and the atmosphere of the entire office is positive and light. A five star experience.
