Both Dr. Blackmon’s mother and father were physicians, so she knew from an early age that she wanted to follow in her parent’s footsteps. Her practice philosophy is to build relationships with each of her patients. She and her husband James have three children, James Jr., Vijay, and Jalen. She knows it’s going to be a good day when she is able to give her children a hug before she goes to work.
