Dr. Brizendine is an orthodontist located in Lodi, California who specializes in orthognathic correction and TMJ problems, as well as braces and Invisalign for both teens and adults. He has been in practice for 30 years and treats every patient as family.
Dr. Brizendine and his staff welcome patients into their Lodi, Galt, and Sutter Creek offices with open chairs and smiling faces. Dr. Brizendine was born in Modesto, California, and raised in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He graduated from Andrews University High School and graduated, with honors, from Pacific Union College, achieving a B.S. degree in behavioral science. Dr. Brizendine earned his Doctor of Dental Science degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and was accepted into Loma Linda's orthodontic residency program straight out of dental school. After receiving his Master of Science degree in orthodontics, Dr. Brizendine served his country with the United States Air Force. Dr. Brizendine was stationed at Travis Air Force Base, CA, for three years, working closely with oral surgeons, setting up surgery cases for orthognathic surgery at David Grant Medical Center. Dr. Brizendine has been practicing orthodontics and taking special interest in TMJ and surgical corrections for 30 years. He is Invisalign certified.
Dr. Brizendine is committed to keeping up with the latest in orthodontics. By attending numerous continuing education classes, Dr. Brizendine and his staff remain well-informed and trained to use leading edge technology for his patients.
Dr. Brizendine belongs to the San Joaquin Dental Society, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists.
He and his wife, Kelly, have two grown children, Erica and Jillian. He is the proud grandpa of Jack, Ty, Wyatt and Gianna. His passions include GOLF, his Harley, skiing (both kinds), snowboarding and scuba diving. He is a San Francisco Giants fan.
