I just had my son up at this office to have some dental work. He was actually having two teeth pulled so they told us that he needed general anesthesia. After having the work done, I had to carry my son, who was still sleeping, over to the "recovery" room which is actually a bench in the waiting area. There was another child on this bench prior to mine. There was no sanitation or changing of pillows prior to my son being placed there!! My wife and I had to sit by his side to ensure that he didn't roll off of the bench. But this wasn't even the worst part - while my son was laying on the bench, shivering and convulsing apparently normal when coming out of general anesthetic the anesthesiologist had her ipad in front of my face asking me to pay!! After about 30 minutes my son had barely muttered a word when this same doctor told us that it's okay to go now he couldn't even sit up on his own!!. I almost took him out of there and went right to Children's hospital so he could recover in a proper setting. But he is home now. And I will be filing a complaint with the State about how he was treated!! Stay away from this group!!!!
I’ve worked with Dr Tapert in the mutual care of our patients for over twenty years. She is a fantastic Pediatric Dentist! Her dental work is superb, her office is fun for kids and parents, and she really cares about her patients and takes the time to get to know them as individuals. I highly recommend her for your child’s dental needs if you live in the Cranberry area.
Wonderful place! Nothing but good to report, I have been taking my grandchildren here for about 5 years. The staff is nothing but superb! Molly is my granddaughters favorite! They are all very compassionate & patient with the kids! I was there today with my grandson & grandsughter & they both had some dental work done & everything went extremely well. I was beyond impressed how the Dr & Dental Tech performed everything all while keeping a 5 & 7 year old completely calm & relaxed thru the whole thing! My granddaughter actually fell asleep & was snoring! I highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a pediatric dentist. Sad to see Dr. Tappert retire but soooo pleased with transition they made to Dr Vaddi without any disruption in patient care! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE AT CRANBERRY PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY!
The staff are wonderful but the doctor is very rude and unprofessional. My son is autistic and was having difficulty with the lights shining in his eyes so his dad covered his eyes and Dr Tappart rudely said to him as she jumped up I will not work with your hands by my face. Then told her assistant to "get these people out of here" never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a doctor. We will not be returning.
I don’t who does their billing but here’s my story. My wife was assured that this office is network with our insurance. We later learned long after the date of service that they are NOT! So if they had been our children’s visit should and would have been covered at 100%. However, they LIED or didn’t understand how in network works and we the patients learned were not in network, which resulted in YEARS of billing mishaps, calls back and forth to insurance and the office, consistent collections threats as well. It would be one thing had we just not paid, but we were under the impression that our insurance would cover BECAUSE the people who specialize allegedly said we were in network! Fast forward I found out that my insurance did pay, and they cashed the check which should have covered the visit. BUT over 24 months later they still haven’t been able to get it straight! Needless to say no one I know will be going back to this D- dentist!
My daughter had to be semi sedated for dental work. The assistant we had was amazing also I was able to stay in the room the entire procedure!!
Fun and super friendly dentist and staff! Very professional as well. My kids actually like going there!
