Dr. Dix was born in Arizona, and has lived in both Florida and Georgia. He joined the Marine Corps, and then he originally went to college for a masters degree in biochemistry at UGA. He was in the masters program at UGA when he was accepted at Medical College of Georgia’s Dental School. He has been in the dental profession since 1975. He is married to Maria and they have built their new home in Austell. They enjoy riding his Harley and going to exotic places to scuba dive. They are both active participants in the annual 2-day walk for breast cancer.
