We took our 5 year old terrier mix to Dr. Zoo around 10pm on a Sunday. She had been poisoned and was very ill. They immediately started working on her to get her stabilized, but we had to leave her there because she was so sick. She spent 5 days at the hospital with round the clock care. The doctors and staff SAVED my baby's life!! My husband said the doctor he spoke to sorry I can't remember her name, seemed to care a great deal about the animals she was caring for. He said that she helped him feel more relaxed about our dog's treatment and prognosis. I will be forever grateful to the staff at Dr. Zoo for working tirelessly to save my dog's life. Thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart for saving Oreo.
What can I say, they saved my puppies life. The service was amazing, staff is extra attentive, and professional. They take immediate initiative on your pets issue. I was amazed how fast my puppy recuperated with the service and medication they prescribed. By far the best vet in town. In addition, super clean area and environment. I was in and out in no time, no appointments required. Highly recommended.

You have to pay for “parking” even if you’re just dropping your dogs off. Not much but have your pesos ready. Took my 3 dogs to get groomed. I called before hand to make an appointment because they were due for their shots. The girl told me I didn’t need an appointment just to arrive early so the vet can do the shots and answer some questions I had. We got there at 12:20. Our appointment was at 1:00pm for the groomer. They asked me to wait so the vet would take my dogs. I waited one hour for them to tell me that the shots were done after the grooming when the vet came out he told me. They were super busy so he dismissed me when I asked him a question regarding a bump on my dogs chest out in the open because he wasn’t going to see my dogs until after the grooming. I came back around 5 hrs later to get my dogs, get tags, and ask a couple questions about teeth cleaning, etc. They were groomed, with no shots, and I later found out my dog had an cornea rip from the grooming. So, no shots, bad grooming and a $250 dollar vet bill in San Diego to spare for pain medication, a cone, and antibiotics. It was not organized what so ever. I like to give benefit of the doubt but not at my pet’s expense. Took my services elsewhere.
The grooming can take a while but for the price you can't beat it.
The negligence and incompetency of doctors at this clinic make my puppy got worse after first visit she didn’t got better I took her again she was hospitalized for four days when I pick her up they said she was better and no she got worse after many phone calls asking for lab test they said they did, three different doctors who treated her never available when I called??? I decided to take her to another clinic but it was to late to saved her Please for the life of your dogs or pets DO NOT GO THERE
I was amazed with the service. They took us in fast without an appointment and the doctor right away knew what ny dog had. . Fast and friendly
I've known this Dr for over 20+ years and was always very impressed with his kind and caring nature. I have continued to refer patients as he is a really good vet The problem that I always heard was that his staff was not on the ball Well I just had an experience myself this week at that clinic and now I get it There was some confusion on the lab work and they blamed me for the problem and refused to assist in making it right and they will not let me speak to the doctor. My dog has cancer and they have really messed things up.. I apologize doctor but you've worked to hard to allow your somewhat incompetent staff to mess things up for you or your patience. Please make some changes.
First time I took my dog and I highly recommend going there. The vet Dr was very informative and cared for my dog in a professional and caring way. We got in quick,no wait, place is clean and close to the border.
The best place to bring our pets for grooming service and Dr visits. Recommend 100%
