Yum! What a great way to celebrate a crush goal with a delicious meal at Dressler's. In a nice quiet Intimate setting with some arm to enjoy your food. We started our dinner off with a juicy fruit mocktail not to sweet just right. Now, that goat cheese with garlic spread had my taste bud on a good high. Don't sleep on it! I had the shrimp and grits full of flavor load with crab meat and sausage. The grits were definitely cream. I really did not like the mac and cheese. However everything came out fresh and hot. They do offer valet parking plus free parking in the garage across the street from the restaurant.
I loved food, service and atmosphere first bc I went with my kitty and they didn’t have problem for that and then for the delicious dinner that we had. Even it was a raining day we were in the terrace and the spot was perfect! Only for us We ordered Rack of lamb, Brussels sprouts, Pan seared salmon, Mac and cheese and red wine. Everything delicious, I recommend if you are in Charlotte is a gem!
Went here for my birthday dinner. I requested a booth in my Open Table reservation and the host gave us a lovely booth because of it. It’s nice when a restaurant pays attention to requests when you make a reservation. However, they somehow missed my note that we were there to celebrate my birthday and it was never acknowledged, so that was disappointing. We ordered: French onion soup Crab cake appetizer Braised beef short ribs Rack of lamb Oreo cheesecake Everything was excellent. The best dishes were the French onion soup and the lamb. I got it with garlic herb sauce and it was so good. Highly recommend! My son got chicken tenders and fries off the kids menu. It was very crispy and well seasoned. Our server was great. Very professional and attentive without being intrusive. A manager came and checked on us a couple times during our meal. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would recommend for special occasions.
Me and Fiancée decided to have date night at Dressler’s for the very first time. We started out with the wedge salad and the goat cheese and roasted garlic appetizer. The wedge salad had the perfect blue dressing to iceberg lettuce ratio and the bacon brought the whole dish together. The roasted garlic and goat cheese was a perfect combination was a spread/dip for the naan triangles. There was a generous portion of the naan triangles too. The entree was the Delmonico ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection. The seasoning on the steak was incredible and didn’t need the two sauces we ordered which were the mushroom Demi and Au Poivre sauce. We also ordered two sides which were the brussel sprouts and the Mac-n-Cheese. The brussel sprouts were probably the best ones I have ever had and the Mac-n-cheese was cheesy and delicious! Overall, I rate my meal 10/10 and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Charlotte area! Also, the service was incredible!
One of our absolute favorite places to eat, for every day eating and special occasions too! Beautiful outdoor and indoor space with plenty of light, always stellar food and service. This was Easter Sunday dinner with Family.
We started with drinks, I had the Let's Get the Party Started and it was tasty, as was the beer. The water they give you is horrible tasting, was really bad. For an appetizer we got the calamari. It was over breaded, over saturated with peanut sauce and tasted like a giant peanut rubber chicken nugget on top of iceberg lettuce. We didn't finish it. I got the halibut and my husband got the lamb chops. Both were okay. The halibut had no sear on it at all and the garlic butter my husband got for his lamb chops severely lacked butter. We order Mac and cheese and asparagus as sides. The asparagus was huge and tasted good, the Mac and cheese was meh. Looked much better than it tasted. For dessert we had the carrot cake, it was ok. Service was excellent. Random side note - you don't get any bread, and mushrooms are not an offered side, which I found odd for a steakhouse. For $200+ I had higher expectations.
My family and I chose Dressler's in Metropolitan as the place to celebrate my great aunt's 80th birthday.. I'm so glad we did. The restaurant atmosphere and decor was beautiful! When we walked in, we all were very impressed with the decorations, and that was the beginning of our wonderful evening. Our party size was 15 adults, however, you wouldn't know it. The waiters were very personable and treated us like we were the only ones present, which my aunt loved! None of us are from the area or had eaten at the restaurant before and had to travel three states to help her celebrate, but out experience that night made worth it. I will definitely be back to visit the Charolette area and will be back to dine! I definitely recommend to others.
We had a wonderful experience here. Came to celebrate my husband with our son and my parents. For appetizers we got the goat cheese, pimento cheese, calamari and tuna. It was all delicious. I don’t usually get wedge salads nor do I like blue cheese but I tried it and it was really good. My dad had the lamb and we all had steak. Everything was great flavor. I think my dads and husbands was a little over cooked but good nonetheless. Our son had the children’s fettuccine with no complaints. I loved they had a kid menu. Our waitress was on top of everything and checked on us plenty. The place was beautiful and good atmosphere. Our son told us that the bathrooms were the nicest he had ever seen. Lol
Let’s talk about HEATHER!!!!! We LOVE HEATHER!!!! She was sweet, attentive, helpful,the BEST!!? Food was good. Crab dip was so fresh and tasty. Calamari app was tender and tasty. Ohhh the Wedgie salad was full of crisp lettuce and great tasting blue cheese. The desserts were moist and HUGE!!!!
Took my girlfriend for a birthday dinner. From start to finish, this experience was awesome. The service from our waiter, Kurtis, was top notch. All staff was extremely nice and said happy birthday to my girlfriend which absolutely made her night. I'm so happy we came here and will surely be back. I got the NY strip and fries - that was unbelievably delicious and I'm weird about steaks. They nailed it, best I've had in Charlotte. She got the halibut - also extremely delicious. Appetizers - we got the seared Ahi Tuna, highly recommend. Kurtis also said the calamari and crab cake appetizers are solid to. I 100% believe him. Cheesecake for dessert which was amazing. Well be back.
