Great company, treated their mngt team great and employees great. Wish I never left.
I’ve been calling over 10 times to speak with Human Resources and I always get sent to the voicemail box. I find this very unprofessional. The only person who has only answered twice is the operator. He said he would take note of my name and number so that the HR Director calls me back. It has almost been a week and she has not called me. They should try to improve in answering calls and getting back to those who leave a voicemail.
I stayed at the Sheraton Pittsburgh at Station Square and it was easily the Worst Hotel experience I’ve ever received. One of the beds in my room had stains on it, the bathroom was dirty hair from a previous guest, stains from who knows what, there were no face towels in my bathroom, the body wash, shampoo and conditioner was all empty. I alerted staff the same morning I arrived about needing those items and went to work. It still wasn’t fixed over 12 hours later when I returned. Imagine paying $150+ a night and only wanting to take a shower and sleep in a clean bed, but you can’t. Not to mention paying $30/night for a parking lot with a gate that broke down several times and staff playing Fox News Channel in the common area all day without a care or concern about how certain guests might feel about having to hear their political banter in the lobby. What’s worse is when ownership was informed, I was treated very disrespectfully by Paul Bazzano. He not only promised to get back in touch with me and didn’t, but yelled at me when I reached back out to follow up since I couldn’t get ahold of him. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this hotel.
This company is the most unprofessional company I have ever come across. I worked for them for 8 months. They never sent my W2 for 2018. I’ve been calling for WEEKS and never get anything but voicemails! And their voicemail boxes are full so I can’t even leave a message! Even the OPERATOR can’t pick up the phone. I even involved the IRS and was told they had 10 days to send me the form. Still haven’t received it. I can’t believe they are still in business with what horrible customer service they offer...
I've been calling the human resource number and I get nothing when I call but a voice-mail. They have never returned my email nor my call for the last 3 weeks.
I am approaching my 3 month period with the company, and I am liking the atmosphere a lot. My management team is amazing. I can see myself totally being with this company for many years to come.
Driftwood Hospitality Management is the best and they truly care for their employees. No other hospitality group can ever come close to how they manage their hotels. The company culture and benefits are top notch. A great place to grow a career in hospitality.
