Most disappointing experience I've had in a long time. The place was almost empty with only two other parties there. There were at least four waitresses working but they all seemed very young and inexperienced. When my bland looking breakfast was delivered I found that the egg whites were runny and asked to have it cooked a little longer. A full 20 minutes later I got it back overcooked and barely palatable omelette with hard cold toast. When we were checking out I believe they overcharged us but the waitress had no idea how to recall the order and check. It was so disappointing and frustrating we just walked out after paying. Avoid this place at all costs you'll be better off driving to Mountain City and eating breakfast at McDonald's.

Just wanted to say the 2 girls at the counter let us use the place wifi to find our directions to this spot at Watauga lake. Really thankful for that. We also bought some drinks and snacks.

Had a great meal with my family. Star is wonderful and welcoming.

We had lunch here before picking up a boat across the street. Was very good!! Salad bar was good as well!!

A hidden treasure Foods are very tasty with good price. Freshly made daily. Has both indoor and outdoor seatings with spectacular views. Super clean and friendly. There're some homemade dessert if you still have room after the meal. Be aware of the opening hours. 7am ~3pm, closed on Sunday. Will definitely go back again.

I think I'd eat breakfast here just about every day if I was able! The service was so friendly, and it just felt like home. The breakfast scramble was like something my grandfather used to make, and it was amazing. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Slow service in an empty restaurant. Food was below average. Overcooked sausage, small portions.

I'm disappointed I came here hoping for some food and I was told that they're doing a remodel but nowhere on here did it say that they're closed for remodel it would have been nice to know. Oh well what can you do. I went by the way they're closed for remodel till April. The store itself still open but the restaurant is closed. The lady at the register was friendly though.

Stopped in on a wild goose chase for some candles to light our jack-o-lanterns on Halloween. We were treated to some amazing customer service/southern hospitality when they found some in the back and let us purchase them for a song! We also bought several pieces of pie, and enjoyed every last morsel! Don't drive past this little gem!
