I went in super hopeful. Especially considering all the good reviews about them being able to do natural hair. Let me be clear. No they do not! Or maybe it was just my stylist my roots were untouched even after she spent an hour and a half JUST on washing and blowing. My hair is 3A so it is VERY manageable and easy to work with. When she actually did pick up the flat iron she STILL did not get to the roots but went over the strands 3x. Their customer service is extremely lacking and they did nothing to even empathize nor try to remedy it.Around TWO HOURS and they still didn’t get to curling my hair. Do yourself a favor if you are African American and go to Pressed Roots. It’s $20 more but they will make sure you leave happy and your roots actually straight.Service: Hairstyling
I asked for a slick black ponytail with curls, was told it will be $55. It was not what i asked for and told me it was 75 at the register. Will not be back!
I booked the 7am time slot and I loved every part of the experience! Sarah was so kind, attentive, gentle and the nicest ever! Thank you so much! I can’t wait to book my next blowout!
Baleigh SLAYED my natural thick hair! Yes, my ends need a trim but she did that! Omgeee, no wonder she’s the senior stylist. She was so sweet, gentle and patient with my hair. She washed it thoroughly and sectioned it to blow dry. My hair is bouncy and flawless. I will be back for my girl
Amazing service here! I have very long dark curly thick hair and I am always worried it won't be done right but I decided last minute to try Drybar and I am so glad I did. My hair looks beautiful! The stylist did an amazing job and I am upset I didn't catch her name to give her proper praise here. Also I went during a storm and the card reader charged my card multiple times. I called and my money was refunded the next day. I will definitely continue to get my hair done here. Great service all around!Services: Hairstyling
Let me be clear about a couple of things. The blow dry trainers had great attitudes and were fun to chat with. In regards to the over all expectations and the business model, it’s jaded at best. For me, I’m an established stylist with experience under my belt and was looking to pick up a side gig so I applied at this location. Being that I’ve never seen or used their products before, I was criticized on my product choices after the service was completed, and that’s to be expected. I love to round brush hair and enjoy styling it out. I went through the training and was told I was good to go. I started on a Saturday and my first client happened to be a birthday girl in her early 20’s. She was with a crew of other girls. Her expectations were over zealous, and with a salon full of stylists and clients it was a bit much to take in. Bottom line, rethink your training and on boarding practices to better educate new employees. The drybar’s curling irons are unique to their own brand and operate differently. With that in mind, give new employees best tips and tricks on how to use it effectively. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way
Such a fun way to pamper yourself! From the extended hair washing/head massage in a comfy chair, to the great smelling products, to the champagne or wine, and finally picking the hair of your dreams and getting it done exactly like the picture! For the rest of the day, I walked around feeling like a million bucks and got several compliments on my hair. All ladies deserve to feel pretty and pampered Lots of fun!
I’ve been here several times. Once, I left with my roots still damp and my curls fell out immediately. I decided to try once more but my experience was about as bad. The stylist barely touched my scalp during the shampoo and I left with greasy roots and frizzy hair. Will not be going back. I wish I could get a refund, as I went home to wash and restyle my hair right afterwards.
I’ve been here several several times. I pay for a scalp massage that I never get, and my hair style never holds for more than 30 minutes. My hair can hold curls for three days. The prices went up. There’s no reason to come here. All the time and effort spent blow drying sections and pinning them only to take them down and curl it with a flat iron then brush it all out so it looks like literally nothing happened. Its all a huge waist of money and time. I just wish I could get my money back.
Loved my stylist! The rest of the staff was kinda rude? Cold? No smiles or anything back when I was trying to find my way around to the counter. First timer I guess.
