If you know how to follow some simple rules & are genuinely serious about getting off opiates Duane Dean will save your life. It saved mine 17 years ago. Victoria is a fantastic nurse. You have to remember what she's dealing with. Junkies that are always trying to bend rules, manipulate people & drug tests, argue or just act immature. If your serious about recovery go to Duane Dean. If you think Methadone is "withdrawal insurance" don't waste everyone's time, stay on the street. It's not easy, but if your reading this,, it's probably time. Being a functional Junkie isn't easy either. Good Luck!!
Have a friend that was coming here for opioid addiction. He was in the program, got arrested for charges related to continued opioids use. He bailed himself out and went to Duane Dean to get methadone. They kicked him out of the program, but he was able to buy drugs from someone else there. Not only does this not help with drug addiction, but is a public forum to purchase drugs. It's an addicts' farmers market. Took him to detox today to get him real help. Not to mention he was having one hell of a time detoxing off of the drugs Duane Dean was supplying. This is not a solution to an epidemic. It's part of the problem.
IF you genuinely want help and are going to put in the work this place is a good place with various resources to assist people in various aspects of their lives. They provide the tools needed to live a sober life but YOU have to want it. Someone stated in a review it's an "addicts market", and I will say there are people there who are not serious in treatment and/or might only be there because they are forced and they do use the place to make more connections unfortunately. But again if you want the help and are serious about treatment this facility can and will provide you the tools to succeed. No one but YOU can do the work though. They offer groups Monday - Saturday Parenting on Thursdays and the groups are very helpful and beneficial in my experience. Most of the staff are very professional, supportive, and caring.
This place is a Joke , If you can find a different methadone clinic that is your best option vs this place , The Nurse Victoria Acts As if she is above You or better then you, Methadone has Changed My life , I have a job and work just like everyone else and yet I’m treated as if I’m below the staff there.
