We ordered three dishes for 2 people. The beef roll is delicious, love the thin wrap. The stir fried green beans is a bit salty. The beef and tofu dish had lots of tofu and beef in there but it has too much liquid, it’s also the wrong kind of tender tofu for this dish. Overall everything taste good, big portion, we were not able to finish everything.
Delicious, that is all I have to say. I will be coming back here again. Today, my eyes were hungrier than my stomach! I recommend all the dishes that were ordered today and they were not as spicy just like how I like it! By the way, we got here as soon as they opened, and it got pretty busy shortly after, so I'd go when they first open or you'll have to wait a while for a table.
Hands down one of the best Chinese spots in PDX. We love this place and make it a point to recommend to anyone visiting PDX. Jason is our favorite server!! He makes amazing recommendations and knows the best things on the menu. The food is delicious. Pork Steam Buns and the Chili Oil Wontons are a MUST! We've not had a bad dish there, nor do we expect to. If you're looking for great Chinese food with awesome service and a nice atmosphere, this is the spot for you!
We got there 15 minutes after it opened and it was getting busy. But everything was great from the service, the communication and the food. We ordered the soup dumplings and szechuan chili oil wontons. Moving from bay area in California, I can be a bit picky and snobby when it comes to Asian food. But this really hit the spot in quality and taste. Also the service made it a lot better of an experience. Also they have a full bar which is genius! We will come back.
We arrived at opening and within minutes the place was buzzing. We enjoyed the Hot and Sour Soup and I had the Mongolian Chicken with the fried rice. Everything tasted fresh and had great flavors. The space is clean and bright. We left full and satisfied.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Chinese New Year is fast approaching so I decided to go get some of my favorite dumplings. The Szechuan Pork Dumplings are exceptional and I love the Chile oil sauce that surrounds them. In the past I have enjoyed other varieties of Dim Sum too. On this visit we devoured the Kung Pao Chicken and the Beef with Green Beans. Both dishes were delicious and the green beans were crispy and seasoned perfectly. Our server was efficient and our food came out piping hot and quickly! I so enjoyed dining in.
Ordered lamb spicy pot, fish in gravy I never understand why restaurants translate this so wonkily, pan fried pork buns, and greens in garlic sauce. Lamb spicy pot was the best of the 4. Fish was kind of a letdown - they didn’t really get the “mala” numbing taste that’s the hallmark of this dish. Also overdid it on the corn starch so that it truly was gravy. Pork buns were big and juicy, though I’ve had more flavorful. Greens were nice and light. Overall a decent dinner that didn’t quite nail the Sichuan flavor for me.
This place was amazing. I enjoyed their dishes so much, starting with the eggplant with hot garlic sauce, it was the perfect amount of garlic and sweetness, not too spicy, it was fresh too and hot in temperature. I enjoyed the fish filet in Szechuan sauce, I could feel the peppers numb my mouth and it complimented greatly with the eggplant and the wontons. I found it a perfect balance because the wontons w/Szechuan chili was neither spicy nor numbing. I enjoyed my dinner it was so delicious. I also ordered an old fashioned, It was the perfect amount of alcohol and they do not skimp out on you. I feel that my money was well put to use I would definitely come back!
The place had a good crowd and a bar full of orders for pick up, and I don't understand why. I walked in and it took a few minutes for employees to acknowledge my existence even though I made eye contact with a few of them. The one who finally helped me was friendly so that was nice. I came here because reviews said the food was very delicious and "authentic." Yeah, no... My chicken chow mein was a step above Panda Express, not much flavor at all. Oh well.
Place full of people! Tried the shrimp and pork siu long bao and shrimp dumpings, very good. Fried the gon chao beef noodles, alot of veggies. Also tried the mala spicy dan dan noodles, which had too much sauce.Food: 4/5
