I had surgery here yesterday to remove endometriosis. All of the nurses and medical staff that I came in contact with were extremely patient with me pre and post surgery. I can’t remember all of their names but I was quite please with how they handled their self and their job. The doctors, both anesthesiologist, as well as the resident keep coming by to check on me while I was being prepared for surgery. If for some reason I ever need surgery again, I will definitely come back to this location.
I would like to thank everyone who helped us Thursday when my husband had surgery. The text updates were super. It really helps when the staff is so friendly. Great staff.
My mother had a surgery over here. Staffs were so kind and sweet. Her cataract was so thick I am so sure Dr.Horne had a hard time, but she did a perfect job, my mother can see the things already. They are so kind and do the perfect job. Don't wait ,if your eyes have a cataract,go see the Dr.Horn in Duke eye center!!
I had heard great thing about this place. Unfortunately I've found none of it to be true. Communication and pain management are in DESPERATE need of attention. I had to ask every time what medication they were putting into my body or wanted me to put into my body. Oh yeah, postoperative pain management is controlled via oral medication. So while you're waiting the requisite 15-30 mins for that to kick in, you can go online and write a review for what is hands down the worst surgery experience I have ever had..... .And this was my 12th time under the knife. Would do negative stars if I could.
Providers and staff are very friendly. They take really good care of patients and caregivers.
excellent expierience here. this upcoming surgery will be my 2nd here.
Waiting is long and tiring
I have had two orthopedic operations at this facility. The doctors, nurses, and staff go above and beyond in putting patients first and making sure that they are treated like family. I am very happy with my experience at the Duke Ambulatory Surgery Center, and I can't recommend them enough for their responsibility in optimizing my PACU outcomes.
