Very good fish! We had the filets with sides of the beans, fries, and okra. Everything was hot and cooked perfectly. The server was super helpful when I asked about an allergy before ordering, and was attentive and helpful throughout the meal as well! We will be back! A+ Features: Tables were clean and freshly wiped.
The prices are reasonable and the food is super fresh. The atmosphere isn't super welcoming but the staff make up for it. The order comes up very quick so if you are there wanting to just enjoy some time away, order an appetizer first. Tried 4 different items from this menu and nothing disappointed.
Service was slow, they had a couple of big parties there while we were there. The catfish was good, but to me, it could have used more salt and pepper or any seasoning. I tasted no seasoning.Food: 5/5
I can only comment on the the catfish, they have so many choices on there menu to pick from it seems I never can get past the grilled catfish, it's one of my favorite on the menu.Food: 5/5
This is a great place to eat the food and service were great. I went here with my family 5 people and it cost just under $100 so very responsibleFood: 4/5
Was not impressed, food was cold and over cooked. For the prices you would expect better. Was my first time there and unfortunately I won't go back.
Best grilled lemon pepper fish I've had great service and decent price. I would recommend trying it out
Very good food, excellent customer service, very reasonable price. They also have a small bar.
Fish filets appeared to have been cut in half before cooking to stretch the product. Very flavorful. Tartar was cold and fresh but flavor does not compete with Fisherman's Market. Good hush puppies and cole slaw. A star detractor was the peach cobbler. Over $4 and in a 6 ounce container that is not full. It was equivalent to 3 bites. They could improve drastically in that area. If the original owner that had this business when it moved there from the airport could only see what is happening....
This is absolutely my favorite catfish place. The fish fillets are big and seasoned well with no fishy taste at all. All the sides are excellent as well, some of the best coleslaw and hushpuppies you will find. Service is great too. It is well worth the trip to Lakeport.
