The attorneys of the Dumas Law Group represent individuals and small businesses in civil lawsuits.
Gilion Dumas and Ashley Vaughn represent victims of sexual abuse in cases against perpetrators or the organizations that allowed the abuse to happen.
Attorney Gilion Dumas founded the Dumas Law Group to provide litigation representation and legal counseling to those who have suffered abuse or other wrongful treatment, whether in a family, educational, religious, community, or business setting. Along with her associate, Ashley Vaughn, Gilion has represented individuals and small businesses in difficult situations:
Adults who were sexually abused as children by trusted individuals in Catholic, Latter Day Saints, Seventh Day Adventist, Methodist, Evangelical, and other churches; the Boy Scouts; private and public schools; day care centers; and other youth serving organizations;
Employees who were harassed or discriminated against in the workplace; as well as employers accused of similar actions;
Property owners facing real estate disputes with buyers, sellers, local governments, or neighbors; and
Business owners involved in commercial disputes over contracts, leases, sales agreements, re-negotiations, trade secrets, partnership dissolution, non-compete agreements, and deals gone bad.
Holding perpetrators and institutions accountable for their wrongdoing can be a powerful tool in the healing process. The first thing we do is listen with respect to our client’s story, because that first step of speaking out can be the first step towards justice and healing.
At Dumas Law Group, much of our work involves helping those who suffered abuse as children to make the important transition from being a victim of abuse to being a survivor of abuse. Your healing is our mission.
Gilion Dumas and Ashley Vaughn are sex abuse attorneys who also handle employment law, personal injury, professional liability, real estate, and commercial or business cases.
