The mountains are beautiful, and it’s a great swimming spot for kids, because you can wade out forever. The only draw back for me is that some of the other people that go and stay at the campground, aren’t the most respectful or decent types of people… I found the plastic part of a ring pop in the sand which I picked up and put in the trash conveniently located right next to the beach for example.
The views were the best you would ever want to see but they had nothing there except candy for the kids to buy..no ice, no nothing..and to get to a store was approx 1 hour drive..terrible..so if you needed salt and pepper or some milk or some water u couldn't get it..but they had unusual amount of candy the whole wall was full of candy..All I have to say os try putting some of that money into a decent Lil store..u be surprised the amount of money u can make back..very windy all day as well
We stayed on B1 over Memorial Day weekend, amazing views. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.
We stay up there every summer for about three weeks or so right on the beach. The only thing I can say in the past few years now is the lack of upkeep. Especially since the new owner has taken over. But it is an awesome place for children.
A great place for kids and adults alike. We hold our family reunion here. Such a beautiful view!
I had a great stay with my family, beautiful view and picturesque night sky. Will definitely come back again.
A great place to live for the summer!! Beautiful beach with mountain views and friendly campers and owners. Special events going on every weekend!!
Great for kids. Doesn't get deep until waaayyyy in the water
I may be biased, but this is my childhood. We used to camp here all summer long when I was a kid, and still to this day we go at least to swim. LOVE this private beach. According to their page it's a half mile beach, some of which is in front of campsites and some is restricted from boats so people can swim. With their own private boat launch, campsites, cabins for rent and the general store it's definitely suited for everyone. Even if you just want to spend the day. You can pay by the car load!!! Some camp sites are pretty close together while others have a bit more room, so if you want one better book early in the season! Same with the cabins!!! This place is an awesome community of people who live to relax and have fun. If you're looking for a place to feel like home, I suggest this place.
One of my favorite places to spend a hot summer day! The beach and sand is so clean and it great for even the tiniest of tots. The water is normal low like a toddler pool for quite a distance. The park is focused on very young kids as well. There is also a little island you can walk through the water to get to too that super cute. My kids love to take their buckets and nets over there to explore it. I've also met some of the nicest people there too. Definitely worth checking out.
