Love the atmosphere...your choice of music....love watching the games there and playing pool. Food is wonderful and the drinks are great. They always have something going on for the customers and it keeps them entertained. Overall its a nice spot to go and chill and to have a laugh or two with friends and family. Oh yeah and the slots payout good as well
Love Dunagains. Friendly atmosphere. A little bit of everything. Slots, great music on the jute box if they still call it that, pool table and great cocktails. Very accommodating. I actually was there for a retirement party. Food was catered from Dunagains. Yes, they do have a full service kitchen. Food is fantastic. Come on in and belly up to the bar or a table and have some fun.
We visited Saturday during COVID-19 Phase 4. We walked in for the first time and stood near the bar to ask the bartender if it was seat yourself or not. She mainly stayed at the other end and when she came near us we were ignored as she passed by. We decided to seat ourselves thinking maybe her or a waitress was around and would take our order or something. We are noticing the bartender and I suppose it was the cook not wearing face masks while serving the public. There were guests from the bar conversing with another table, and others going between the bar and pool tables. The bar was packed tight. We originally heard the burgers were good so we were getting a few burgers to go. Another couple walked in about five minutes after we sat down. The guy waited a few min and got his drink order in and took them to his table We waited at the table another few minutes and walked out. Will never return. We were there about 20 min and never acknowledged.
Great cozy place with excellent food. 2 pool tables, several TVs, darts, video gaming and a handful of tables to dine at or you can sit at the bar. Love the no riff raff kind of place this is where all are welcome. Bartender was very attentive a and friendly.
The food was subpar, I waited an hour for rib tips that could’ve passed as beef jerky. It took an hour and a half for boneless wings to come out. There’s a serious problem when your fries are your best amenity. Server was nice but I go to restaurants to eat.
Best Bar food in the south Suburbs. Friendly locals, lots of TVs to watch your favorite sports team play. Owner and bartenders are great hardworking people.
I love Dunigans. Great selection of IPAs on tap. They'll even give you a few samples to help you decide. Reasonable priced drinks and specials. Nice atmosphere with music, sports screens, and pool. Food is also great. Order the wings or Irish nachos.
I've watched the kitchen manager at his finest working at dunagains Irish Pub . Well I am not only impressed with the company that you find at the bar stool next to yours no matter what time of the day there is always someone interesting and entertaining to speak to. As well the atmosphere and cleanliness that the whole staff that makes sure it is a great place to be for a beer a cup of soup or one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. Applause on the menu in the way the food is prepared and presented. I can honestly say that the only soup I will eat is the soup that is made at dunagains Irish Pub. Sincerely, Kate the Great
