They took really good care of me and the nurses was really good to me. They did an x-ray on me and they done a CAT scan on me come back that I have Pneumonia. And the ER doctor that I seen. She was really nice and everything. But the nurses they were super nice, and one of the nurses that kept me up-to-date on everything. She knew my granddaughter because they went to school at Marlow, but she was three years older than my granddaughter when she graduated. She was really, really super nice and kept a close eye why we were waiting on my test results to come back.
Came in with a large laceration and broken jaw. The staff were very friendly and helpful polite took good care of me. The Doc set me up with a specialist in the city. Considering the circumstances I had a great experience with DRH this weekend. She even called to follow up with me and see how I was doing!
Care was acceptable. The doctor had a very rehearsed almost robotic bedside manner. Kind of felt like he was going through the motions on what he was supposed to ask, but didn’t really care to be there. The nurse practitioner was on point with care and the nursing staff was phenomenal as usual.
I had an operation at DRH just this past Friday. As always, the nursing staff was very friendly, attentive, and professional. The anesthesia was given at a perfect dose as to not make me ill afterward. Dr. Miller is always friendly, timely, and provides the desired outcome of the procedure. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I live in Sterling Oklahoma . I have always went to Lawton for medical attention and never felt very taken care of going there. 2 years ago I started going to Duncan regional hospital when my children and I had been sick . The front desk ladies are so kind and definitely hard working . They are very quick to get you back especially depending on how severe your situation is. Once they have placed you in a room after getting your vitals all of the nurses staff and doctors definitely take time to hear you and check out all your concerns. I feel absolutely safe there. And I appreciate every single one of them for being so kind, honest, caring, and just all around amazing. There is definitely no other place I would go other than their. Everyone they're definitely deserves a raise for how amazing and how hard-working they are. They really care about their patients. And I can definitely tell they're all a team. It's a out of the way drive for me but definitely worth it. Thank you everyone at Duncan regional hospital for being so awesome!!!!!!! If you are new to the area and are definitely not feeling well and don't feel that your needs are met at another doctor's office or hospital I highly recommend driving to Duncan. It's worth every penny!!
I was in and out quickly and got stitched up. But, i was in and out so quickly that if felt rushed. I came in with a head injury. They did not assess me for a concussion. I was given nothing for pain. I was asked if i needed a tetanus shot. I told them that i needed one, but i never got one. There seemed to be no communication between the contractors dr and the real employees everyone else. This was the most unprofessional visit I can think of at any hospital.
I had the best experience with my bladder sling surgery. Not an unkind soul from desk clerks to nurses, doctor, and anesthesiologist! Little wait time, don’t remember a thing about surgery lol and the nurse with me until I wheeled out the door was so kind and showed so much concern for my post surgery needs and pain level afterwards and assured I made it home with no discomfort. Even if a patient does not require it, it’s a great experience and says a lot when someone can not find one negative thing to say from the start to finish! My 3 nurses especially are being given a 10+ for being so personal and had great sense of humors to match mine!
I don't know what you guys did in the last 2 years. But I completely commend you very much I just moved back from Texas and I knew that I would end up in your hospital again not a great feeling at all when you are sick OMG you and your devoted employees at DRH are remarkable thank you for your time in my needs if no one else said that they love you I love you
I came for stitches. It had been 8hrs since .my injury. You have a 12hr-24hr window before it's too late to get stitches depending on the severity of the wound. Mine was in the 12hr window. Due to my allergies to lidocaine and certain pain medication the ER Dr. that "treated" me refused to stitch me up and argued with me about times frames like I was an idiot. I have been in nursing a good deal of my life. Do I know when it's not able to be done. The Dr. And nurse had very poor bedside manners. Very argumentative and did not want to listen not did they put on my chart that certain medications such as lidocaine are fatal for me, they put other. Since when is fatal not on the list of reactions? They are lazy and do not listen to their patients.
Every time I would go there they never want to run tests. It’s sad, people with anytime of insurance should still get treated the same as everyone else, not do less just because they have Medicaid or Soonercare. They just don’t want to treat you. They’re quick to send you home.
