If it were possible to give NEGATIVE stars, I would. The level of disrespect that the decedent's wife and payor of funeral expenses suffered at the hands of Dunlap & Thames is unconscionable. First, the funeral home tells the wife to meet at the church at a specific time for the processional of the body into the church. We get to the church at the appointed time and the body is already inside the church. Secondly the funeral home goes off and leaves the wife in the processional to the gravesite. I had to literally blow people off the road so that the wife's car could get in line behind the hearse. Thirdly, it took more than 2 weeks for the wife to get the death certificate. By law, death certificate are ready in 2 or 3 days after death. The funeral home simply refused to release them until my distraught aunt approached Dunlap & Thames demanding the certificate. I hate to write such reports but people need to be aware of the type of service this business provides...when a wife is grief stricken, she needs support not mistreatment, especially when she is paying for the services. Beware of Dunlap & Thames...
