I brought my cat in for a second opinion. When I made the appointment, I had explained that I had taken her to another vet who had said she had a lump on her tail and that a biopsy was unable to tell them what it was. I said I wanted to get a second opinion and also explained that the first vet's estimate seemed a little high and I wanted to get a second estimate. I was told not to feed my cat that morning because there was a possibility the vet would be able to schedule a surgery the same day and that the estimate from the fist vet seemed high to the receptionist too and she said they would do their best to give me a better price. During my appointment today, the reception staff was very nice and friendly and the doctor seemed nice and informative, but then the reception staff and the doctor told me it was their policy to never schedule same day surgeries and then gave me an estimate that was much higher than my first vet. I told them I felt like it was a bait and switch process and that I was going to go back to my first vet fir the surgery. They did seem nice but from my perspective, it seemed like they told me what I wanted to hear to get me inside and then changed the terms. I don't think I'll go back.
DuPage Animal Hospital is an absolute gem. Dr. Felt saved our mini poodle's life and has taken SUCH good care of both of our dogs. We love her so much we drive an hour each way to see her now that we moved out of the area. Cannot recommend enough.
Dr. Roberts is a great vet who clearly cares for her patients. She makes it very comforting for the owners to know their pets are in good hands and the right treatments are being given.
DuPage Animal Hospital is such a caring and thorough vet practice. They take the time to explain things, to provide estimates when requested, to give options, and in general be practical while caring. Thanks so much for the great care!
We love the care our 3 dogs get at DAH!! We love Dr. Felt but honestly, every Dr and Tech has been wonderful. Down to earth, kind, thorough, etc!
Excellent! We had an appt with Dr. Nicole DiGiacomo and she was so caring and patient with our pup and explained everything she was doing along with her diagnosis, and demonstrated how to use the medication she was prescribing. She also answered a few other general questions I asked, thoroughly and with good advice!
We the pups & I love the doctors & staff here!! I was previously taking my almost 14 year-old dog to another vet, but the lack of quick action when he was very ill several years ago led to almost losing him and an enormous emergency vet bill. After that experience I began taking him to DuPage Animal Hospital and never looked back. Dr. Roberts has taken outstanding care of him and our younger pup. She is incredibly warm hearted, visibly loves the animals she cares for, takes time for all of my questions, and graciously calls with follow-up. Both of my dogs willingly walk into the back room for exams or nail trims because they love to greet the staff. I love taking my pups to a place I can tell they're comfortable, and am especially grateful with the medical advice and recommendations we are given. All they care in this place is to take your money!! if you love your dog, don’t ever go there, they missed diagnosed my beautiful dog, did surgery on her just for the money!! She died two weeks after … they don’t care!! They find excuses for their mistakes!!
