Dustin S. Wagner is an attorney with Lutz, Bobo & Telfair, P.A. His practice areas include Criminal Defense and Personal Injury.
Dustin Wagner is a Florida trial lawyer practicing in both civil and criminal law litigation.
Born in Ocala, Florida, Dustin is native Floridian and the youngest of four boys. He was raised on Anna Maria Island and graduated from Manatee High School in 2000.
Prior to law school Dustin began his professional career with Nationwide Insurance in Gainesville, Florida. Working as a commercial underwriter, he analyzed potential and existing business policies for risk and exposure. Within a short period of time he managed a six-million dollar district and forty plus field agents. Thus, Dustin gained invaluable insight into the insurance industry which directly compliments his clients.
Amid a turbulent economy, Dustin made the decision to step down from his position with Nationwide and followed his heart to law school with the intent of being a prosecutor. However, an eye-opening internship with the Broward County Public Defender’s Office altered his opinion on the criminal justice system. Dustin spent four years as a Public Defender in Tampa, Florida “leveling the playing field” and protecting constitutional rights for indigent clients.
Now Dustin uses his insurance insight - along with his passion for justice - to litigate for his clients as a civil and criminal law practitioner. His primary goal is to make sure each client’s needs are served and that they are properly compensated for their injuries or protected from injustices. Dustin treats each client like family, ensuring all individuals represented have their voice heard.
Dustin owes a debt of gratitude to his mother for instilling the core values of compassion and loyalty that drive his practice every day, and his father for enabling him to keep a sense of humor, no matter the obstacles ahead.
