The guy working is the main reason I will come back. Not only do they have good pricing and good machines… but he was friendly and super helpful. Working hard the entire time. I am new to using a laundromat so I was a little hesitant when I first went in but he helped me find a machine to fit all of my stuff, same for the dryer, asked me if I needed anything and overall made me feel more comfortable.
I have been coming here since this place open as it is convenient. I come in today and immediately get the eyes from the two old ladies working an another old lady doing her clothes. I'm like ok whatever bc I get it all the time I'm covered in tattoos but what I hear your employee said hurt me to the core. Quote "he has a lot of symbolism tattoos I don't want someone like that in here" someone like that my tattoos have to do with my heritage.smh I will be filing a civil lawsuit against her
I was treating with no respect I put my clothes in a washer w that wasn’t in use and after I put my money i and the machine started going a white lady unplugged my machine called someone and was told to take my wet clothes out of the machine and leave and never. One back I asked the lady why she was doing this to me In front of everything in the lander mat and she shahid because she was in charge in she can do what she want I left crying and feeling in shame of needing to go to a laundromat I have never in my life been treated the way she treated me. Something must be done so black people can wash clothes in peace at this laundromat here in Asheville
West Asheville's finest. Huge - I went on a Saturday late afternoon and there were plenty of open machines. Parking lot is small but I got lucky as someone was leaving. The gentleman attending the door was kind and helpful and was keeping an eye on the parking lot goings on. Most importantly, the entire place is very clean and machines all look sparkly new aka high quality, very well cared for. Dried three huge loads of laundry using 2 machines done in 30 mins. Don't know why you'd go anywhere else.
Exceeded expectations! Used drop off laundry service, reasonable price and great staff!
No apology can correct the manner in which the old lady spoke to me. I arrive 10 minutes after my wash was complete, expecting my clothes to be moved and asked the attentive, actually helpful girl where it is. She helped me by pointing me to my clothes. Done, right? Nope. The old lady chose not to help. She chose to follow up on my completed request by yelling at me," IF YOU DONT COME BACK, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MOVE YOUR CLOTHES" I don't know what she thought I said, and I apologize if this rough, delayed, and useless enforcement is commonplace, but to a black man just doing laundry....the response was as if I had stormed in and demanded. The response was useless and an attempt to humiliate me for _________ Answer: nothing but phantom aggression. FIX your volume with your customers
Went at 3:30ish and there were plenty of machines open. The dryers that I used ran and a great temp medium. It was 37 minutes for the wash and 30 for drying so I was amble to get in and out which is always nice.
The dryers I used look well used, but are in good shape and worked great. There are 4 large folding tables that all appeared to have been "claimed" even though no one was folding. There seems to be plenty of places to sit on benches. The parking lot is small and was crowded, as expected on a busy Sunday afternoon. Overall, this looks to be a decent facility.
Nice friendly staff, any questions about laundry is answered professionally
