Dave is an experienced old school fisherman with many stories and tips. Cabins are great with pretty much everything you need for camping and more. Learned alot and was an overall great experience. Thanks Dave!Rooms: 5/5
Great place with friendly staff. If you want a cool place to get away from society for a little, this is the perfect place for it. Dave and Kristy were very helpful through the whole trip. You set up a reservation then they setup a taxi to take you out to the point. You can either get a small cabin for 3 people or a larger cabin that sleeps 8 people. It has an oven, gas stove, fridge, microwave and toaster. The outlets only work when the generator is running but the fridge stays on. They are very helpful with preparing fish after every day of catching. You get a 18ft boat that has a 30hp motor and either 2 or three people configuration. We had tons of fun salmon fishing and rock fishing. I do have to mention that we didn't have water for the first day in the cabin and our neighbors didn't get any hot water for the whole time they were there. Overall I recommend this place for good family fun.
You will not find a more authentic fishing experience than at the Duval Point Lodge. Dave & Lisa are great hosts and provided us with laughs, knowledge, shocks and most importantly fish, lots of fish. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to truly get away from it all and go off grid and let nature be your guide.Rooms: 5/5
Had a super stay we will definately be returning next year. Not a fancy Lodge but very clean and well equipped cabins. Great location and right in the fishing grounds. Fish were caught by us 100 off the lodges dock. Under a minute to be fishing in a very fishy spot. The owners/ facility managers are very friendly and helpful. The dock staff were super helpful especially Josh.
We stayed at the floating cabin, didn't have running water for 3 days. Had 8 guys having to fill a bucket up with saltwater to flush the toliet was a smelly hassle. I never did get a a shower the five days I was there. Float home is also sinking in the back so the whole home lists backwards 3 degrees. Land cabin may be better but never saw them. They had pretty solid boats but wondered about outboard engine maintenance as our stater relay failed away from camp leaving us stranded until we shorted the relay terminals with pliers to get the motor started. Nice enough folks but I didn't think I got good valve for my money
I loved the place me and my family went hade a great time, you take a water taxi to the point then you can stay in a cabin that holds 3 people or one that holds 8 hade a great time I would recommend it.
Horrible place, zero help with where to fish, didn't know regulations, then have half our fish with our names on them to other guests, and response from owner was "oh well you can make it up next year" Will never go back!
Great people running that place!
Great place to go on vacation.
