Dyad hosted us last night - we were a large group of women and they were absolutely wonderful. The staff were kind and patient and the food was incredible. Everything was so fresh and the burger was delish. We had everything on the menu and ordered many extra plates. The cocktails were wonderful, the desserts were so yummy and homemade. Love that it is family owned and operated. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Thank you so much!
Such a nice, warm, family run wine & beer bar. They have a small kitchen and make a GREAT burger. I call it a wine and beer bar because they have nice selections of both of those beverages but they also service liquor. If it’s cold out, expect to have a real fire in both very old fireplaces. The fire entire building is a very old home in historic Kinderhook
The atmosphere was great, the host was warm and welcoming. We got sat near the fireplace which was perfect since the evening was chilly. The menu was limited but that's not a negative, the food was really enjoyable and satisfying, mixed with good wine made for a good night out.
This family owned restaurant is in a beautiful old home that is both comfortable and eclectic. A very nice selection of wines, beer and cocktails. We had a variety of delicious appetizers and I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. If you're looking for something new, and willing to drive 20 minutes from the Capital, give this a try. You won't be disappointed.
One of the best dinners I’ve ever ate, Really great ambience, friendly staff and reasonable prices
Had fried pork dumplings and they were . Excellent mixed drinks as well.Food: 5/5
This one star comes from a place of love. I am saddened at the lack of respect this establishment has for its own restaurant. It looks closed, first of all. When presented, finally, with the menus, they were covered in bits of dried food and spilled wine. Ew. You have a beautiful gem of a place, in the village. Your food looks delicious and from what I hear, is indeed. How about putting up some warm and inviting patio lights, rake out your gardens full of dead debris, put some flowers in the pots, change your light bulbs, print some fresh menus, paint your picnic tables.....make the place look alive again. Put some love into your restaurant. All of the above is elbow grease. Get your staff involved. Curb appeal goes a long way, and, with some new kids in town, you may need it. Feedback can be tough to swallow, but it doesn't mean it is rude or incorrect.
Delicious food with fantastic service in a cozy home atmosphere. One cook and one waiter/bartender. The living room dining area was full so we ate at a high-top near the bar. The chairs were unstable cantilever style and I fell forward out of my chair while passing food to my wife. Tables were all sticky. The regular menu was not available - could only choose from about five dinner specials. Food was delicious but portions were small. Staff complained about the high market supply costs of all meats to justify their small menu and portions. I really wanted to try their baked Mac n cheese but without the regular menu available I could not, so a star was knocked off this rating. My wife wished the beer menu came with descriptions as hers was brewed with coffee, which she does not drink, resulting in a waste of good beer. Higher average age of patrons than other establishments in the area. Overall would highly recommend this to couples in the area. Might be best in the wintertime to cozy up by the fire.
Cozy, quaint space for a relaxing amazing meal. I love that the owner's family is all in on running the place! Mom - you make a scrumptious burger! And the owner mixes some excellent cocktails - try one of the specials!Food: 5/5
Charming. Feels like you stepped back in time two hundred years. The service is extremely friendly. Expansive wine and beer selection. Wasn't offering small plates when I was there and, though the menu was understandably limited, the food was good.
